The shrimp etouffee was fantastic! My husband had the oyster po'boy and said it was very good but expected more oysters. The oyster to bread ratio was off. Did not enjoy the chicken liver. It needed more herbs, spices, salt. It just tasted like chicken liver. More of the onion. The salad needed more radish More tomatoes. More bleu cheese. More almonds. Needed a bit of sugar or honey in the dressing. And where were the beignets? The sazarac was delicious. Due to the electricity outage due to the weather and limited menu we will definitely come back to check out the full menu. The server was perfectly attentive.
I've been here several times for brunch. I enjoy their unique selections. This time, the attention to my food was a little off. Nothing horrible, but I ordered the poutine with eggs over easy to medium. When it was brought out, it was easy to see the eggs were fried hard. The server rushed us. The restaurant wasn't crowded, yet she had our bills on the table when we still had at least half a pitcher of mimosas left.
We went on a Saturday afternoon and were nearly the only patrons there. It was quiet and peaceful. The inside is decorated exactly how I would expect for a New Orleans inspired restaurant, with beautiful chandeliers and ornate mirrors. The service was spectacular, food was delicious, I highly recommend the poutine.

The best Cajun food we have experienced. Everything made from scratch. The band was really good too!
Decent time, out of stock Mussels, the creole chicken mac and cheese was delicious however overpriced for what it was. Fish and chips were normal, nothing special, only got one piece of fish. Music was pleasant, however would have preferred sitting in view of the band or outside. Server was fantastic, and did the job exceptionally well. Overall, it was good, overpriced, nothing there I have to go back for.
