Came in with a large party. We had about a 40 minute wait around 11:30am. The drink options were amazing! The food was delicious! Service was good and on top of everything. I did here people being turned away from the door around 12:30pm on a Sunday so I'd say get there before 1pm if you don't have a reso. Overall, amazing! ?
OMG My husband’s 2 favorite things: Biscuits and Whiskey! I wanted to try everything on the menu! But i made a final answer of the Rosewood with grits. Hubby got a biscuit flight. We shared and it was all amazing. I’m not a big grits lover, but these were so good! For the flight we got all the gravies except the mushroom one. He doesn’t like fungus, which is odd because he likes cheese and fermented foods, but anywho… He got a Gold Fashioned to drink. He said it was good. We were seated at a bench with other guests, but it was fine because we were able to sit far enough to not interrupt each other. I would definitely return.
Overall a great experience in a themed restaurant. The biscuits were buttery, light, and crisp. The ambiance was delightful. The goetta was great. Creative and tasty gravy options. My only gripe is the biscuit and gravy flight is listed in the entree section while providing half the food my partner received.
Holy cow, the food here was amazing. It was an hour wait at 11:00 on a Sunday. We debated on whether or not to wait but some locals said it is well worth the wait and they weren’t wrong. Went next door Braxton Brewing and had a drink while waiting. We both got the Fool’s Gold and added the piece of fried chicken. We inhaled it all without a crumb left on the plate!
Went to the one in Union KY!! The biscuits were amazing, and fluffy. Our sandwiches were great. Our server Nancy was amazing. She was personable, attentive, and friendly. Will def be back.
Amazing experience every time at the Union location. Staff is welcoming and polite. Great service. Food is always above expectations. The catfish and the prime rib sandwich is DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.
Excellent all around experience! Saw the restaurant featured on the news. The biscuits and gravy were amazing. Highly recommend a visit soon. Not a drinker but they offer a huge selection of adult beverages! Worth the drive from Greene County!
Cool place, small and warm. Second try on coming here and glad we came back. Ordered the special, a French dip and fries as well as a house salad. Salad was fresh and delicious with what appeared to be a homemade ranch. The French dip was outstanding. As stated, the menu is small-ish, but enough selections to keep anyone happy. Personally I’m ok with that as it allows the chef to focus on the available choices. Only downside IMO is the closing time. Feel like they should be open until 10:00 on weekends, or at least 9:00. Other than that, I’m anxious to go back and try something else. I recommend.
We saw Chef Christian Gill on CBS Sunday Morning so we thought we’d give it a try. Everything was outstanding. The service, drinks, food, everything. My wife had the Grahams of Gold, I had the Yukon Sandwich. We both had Bloody Mary. I thought it was very good. It tasted like chipotle in it. I’ll post pictures. Oh desert is great and the coffee is from the coffee shop across the street. Local craft beer. Things to consider. It’s only open until 3:00pm. The Union, Ky restaurant is open until 8:00pm. It’s in an old neighborhood so the streets are narrow and the parking is, annoying. There are 2 parking lots behind the restaurant one is reserved the other is open. The biggest table is a picnic table it has 6 seats. I overheard the hostess tell a large party they have a policy of not moving tables, good. Looks like 10 or 12 tables and smallish bar.
great food & drinks , awesome staff
