Placed a to go order 1010 am. Waited until 1120 am no update. I really feel bad for those on the front line there. A young lady told me while waiting “the manager can’t get silverware together or tables cleared enough to even sit people.” If your in management and you can’t hire enough staff those jobs then become your job. Won’t ever return given this fact that management has the inability to pivot and course correct. Bob Evans himself would be very disappointed.

My girlfriend and I was there on 2 different occasions service was something to be desired service was so slow a 30 yr old snail would have won hands down and my miss got food poisoning from under cook food. Myself I had pie and it was not at all looked good best thing was the coffee and water we will never eat at this restaurant ever again. We have gave them chance through the years no more we will go to McDonald's first services is faster and the food is better than bob Evan's
I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready by 10:24. I did not get my food until 11:10. I live 10 minutes down the road and by the time I got home everything was cold, not even slightly warm. I get being busy but no one apologized to me for my wait and like I said it wasn’t even lukewarm by the time I got home and it was $30 worth of food.
Went to the Eastgate location on February 27th. The hostess asked for our name and then proceeded to spell the name wrong even after it was spelled out to her because she asked again what the name was. My friend was very clear when speaking this to her. We were told 15-20 mins. We waited for 30 mins and watched her proceed to skip over our name and seat 7 other parties before us. She avoided eye contact with us as she continued to seat people who walked in after us. I can state that we were the only interracial set of people in the building besides one other couple. While I feel like we should be past that it was very clear her intentions and her behavior was completely unacceptable. The manager in trainer tried to make an excuse that the same mistake was made yesterday due to multiple people entering names on the list. I let him know that she was in fact the only person putting names on the list and seating people. This is not acceptable Bob Evans.
To slow getting food had almost finished before I got my bacon. The server was too hurried I understand though everyone is short staffed

Normally 4 or 5 stars but not tonight. The wait time was well beyond what we expected even tho there were plenty of tables open. I never can understand why. The service was less than desirable. We didn't get all the items ordered. The waitress didn't come back for refills and never checked to see if our food was alright. We flagged another young lady who ultimately helped us get the remaining food we were supposed to have but how can you enjoy cranberry salad with no food...or biscuits by themselves. The plates were already emptied. Although the manager on duty adjusted our bill I don't think we'll be returning to the Bob Evans at Eastgate any time soon. Very disappointing. The only reason they got 3 stars is because the food was good...albeit individually.
Our family just ordered food for Thanksgiving and it was very good so if you get the chance try it. So thank you Bob Evans for a good meal.
We ordered 40 individual Thanksgiving dinners to feed our team today. Their busiest day of the year and the busiest I've ever seen a Bob Evans restaurant. When I walked in it looked pretty chaotic, as there were workers and customers everywhere. Their team was great! All of our meals were hot and delicious. Hats off to the morning/lunch crew at Bob Evans Eastgate. Give yourselves a pat one the back. You deserve it!!!
