Oh my GOODNESS! I just got the Oxtail Plate! They were tender and flavorful! The greens were bangin and the mac & cheese was on point! I WILL BE BACK! And they topped it off with some sweet potato pound cake. lordt hammercy
So, I was just looking for new spot to eat. I hit up Google and it lead me here. Let me tell you, this food was amazing. I had the soul food plate with a side of cabbage and the rasta pasta with chicken and shrimp. You will not be disappointed.They asked if it was our 1st time and once they knew that it was.....the staff was more than happy to explain the entire menu.Needless to say, the food and service was great!However, if you want/need you food fast you might want to call your order in.

Honestly I never knew food could taste better than how it looks! But this restaurant is the true definition of that! Starting from the 5 star service to the almighty food they have. Big Jays is the place to be for your Caribbean and soul food in the Cincinnati area. The best HANDS DOWN.
When I tell you this was well worth the wait. Big Jay was kind enough to wait for me to pick up my order after work. Everything was fresh. My new spot!!!

Tried this place for the first time today. Definitely will be eating there again. Food was delicious and full of flavor with very generous portions. Dont be intimidated by the prices because you get what you pay for!! I just hope Google is wrong and they are open past 5PM.
Best Caribbean food in Cincinnati. The Soul Food plate was so delicious I will definitely have to go back & try more of their food. Also the food was fresh, hot & made with love. If you're in Finneytown, this is an awesome place to eat.
Big Jays Place is the spot. I tried the Salmon and soul food dish which consists of Greens macaroni and cheese and Rice. Every bite was well worth the price. The macaroni and cheese was totally awesome but everything else was just as good. I've tried many Caribbean restaurants in the area but this one is #1
