Food was good had reservations for 7pm didnât leave the restaurant till 1045pm due to horrible service, poor communication, service was horrible attitudes where bad never going back and the place was filthy
Overall we stayed the food was okay. The problem was when we got there a total of 2 waiters didnât want to wait on us. I think it was because of our race but they said it was because it was closing time and the 2 waiters that complained about waiting on us was getting out of there soon. Which I Think is Bull. But we will try again. Because I always hear Great Things. .
We snatched up a last minute reservation for dinner for five! Honestly had the best experience in a long time! The food flavor was incredible, the chef was engaged, and the entire meal was a 10 out of 10!
Had to wait longer than usual for a waiter. Cook wasnât very talkative and didnât do any tricks. Shrimp was not cooked all the way through.
Best meal weâve ever had at Benihana! Our reservation was 30 minutes late due to staff not coming to work. Not something you can control.
We were celebrating two birthdays and I had a $30 birthday certificate that I gave our server when we were seated. At the end of the meal when the bill came, my $30 birthday certificate was not applied. When I questioned the server, Olivia, she stated she was unable to apply the birthday certificate to the bill. She said only the manager could apply the credit. She returned to our table with an overpayment credit receipt instead of rerunning the bill. If Benihana is giving me a $30 birthday certificate, it should be able to be applied to our bill so the charge reflects that credit. My bank account has been charged the amount of the total bill $374.50 and the credit, $32.43, the server said would appear back on my bank account has not posted as of the time of this correspondence.
Had an all new wait staff, none of them knew what things were that we were asking for. They told us they didnât have teriyaki sauce (for steak or chicken) or spicy for the chicken, or different drinks we tried to order, said they never heard of the Benihana kids chopsticks, etc. they just had no idea what was going on. Made for a bad experience. We didnât find out until AFTER we ate our food with no sauces that they did actually have them. The chef told is as we were finishing our meals. We also had our reservation for 7:45, they literally only had 2 other tables full, all other 20 tables were open & we didnât get sat until almost 8:30!!!! Thatâs insane.
As soon as we walked in there was a police officer standing behind the hostess. That was an immediate concern. The restaurant was very dirty and outdated. We had to wait for quite a while for a chef to be available. Once we finally ate the food it was good. I will look for another hibachi grill to go to in the future
Excellent food, service and entertainment for our family of four outing. The chef and wait staff were accommodating and made our experience that much more enjoyable.
Server was unmotivated and abrupt; we waited for everything, including the check. We were there for almost 3 hours. Food quality was excellent.
