Can accommodate parties of 10, varied menu, attentive wait staff. Parking lot is a bit tight during mealtimes. Our party gathered at 6pm on a Wednesday. We were seated in a back room, which was more quiet.On my first visit, I chose a bison burger. It was attractively as pictured with French fried onions garnishing the top.The onions were very chewy instead of crispy. The person on my right had a fish sandwich which he said was good. My friend at my left had a wrap sandwich, which she enjoyed.Barnesburg Tavern does a great job of serving customers a large variety of dinners, which must be challenging for the kitchen! Their French fries are crispy and unforgettable. The chocolate cake dessert is delicious. I would return just to try another dinner.
I had the Saturday night prime rib special which was pretty good. My husband ordered boneless wings with haberno sauce. No sauce was on his wings, just plain. My husband doesn’t complain. By the time the waitress returned to check on us, we told her and she asked if he wanted the sauce now with only one wing remaining! No follow up on drink refills until she brought our check. Pretty disappointing. Be awhile if we try again.
DON’T GO HERE IF YOU’RE FROM KENTUCKY. If it was possible, I’d give this place a 0 star rating. My friends and I went here after an indoor soccer game on a Monday night to finish watching the NCAA mens basketball championship. They said my ID felt fake even though it is Kentucky’s new real ID that I had to get in order to fly. We ended up going to McCoys down the road where the staff was much kinder.
Great bar to watch sports with a great menu at reasonable prices. Rather its appetizers, sandwiches or a rack of ribs (which is very good) you can get it here with great service! The owner is always there! Also they have a happy hour everyday appetizers and drink specials! Highly recommended you check it out! They also have a restaurant side for families!

Horrible portions for the price! 5 people in party. Three people ordered the shrimp tacos ($13.99 a piece) that were extremely tiny in size. $11.00 for small portion of wings. Only decent meal was the chicken salad. Bill was over $100 with drinks and no one was event remotely satisfied after meal. Need to move the tacos to appetizer…definitely not a meal! Will not be back!
First time there and was really impressed. The staff, food and establishment was nice.
Stopped in for dinner with my family. I ordered the half rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and a house salad. The food was good not great but good. I would have liked some croutons or crackers with my salad but other than that I can see us going back to try out other items. All of the staff seemed to be very attentive which is great!!
Service was nice appetizer were good. Prime rib was amazing. Kids meals were a good size( happy hour 4 to 630 6.99 starred apps) nice dinning room area didnt love the grilled chicken but the mac mashed and salad were great
