We got take out for a birthday dinner. We had little ones, so it wasn't in the cards to dine in that night. The portions are good sized. I ordered my go-to, chicken pad Thai, #7 heat. It is two meals for me. I also got an order of Thai rolls (3 rolls with sweet & sour sauce). Those were shared and well liked. My soon and his wife each got the yellow curry and liked it. It's their usual go-to for Thai. My wife tried the Ban Thai steak and loved it. She gave that 10 stars - sooo good! Her new fav! Ban Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Cincinnati, a close second to Lemon Grass on Madison Rd in the Rookwood area.
Ban Thai at Eastgate Cinci area, may look small and dark colors decorated, but food is very good, (grandma’s real flavor); rice was cooked to perfection. Has some sushi options too. The service is efficient and attentive. ?
Very poor customer service. I used to LOVE this place. Food quality has also gone down and very rude and deceitful management. I ordered a vegan tofu pad Thai that came with egg and simply wanted a remake, nice lady said it would be ready in 15 mins. manager then called and refused and hung up! Never will I ever support this business again!
Very good Thai food, well prepared. The menu is like a book though so if you don't know what you want it can be confusing so breath of you know what you want. Real good though, and authentic. Love that spice!
What an experience. When we arrived they let us know it would be 40 minutes until the food came out, but they did seat us. We put in our orders and it maybe only took 20 minutes. The food was fantastic and tasted amazing. It was a sizeable amount and was not very expensive at all. I'd recommend a bento box to experience a lot of what they have to offer.
We called our order in and did take out. The sushi was amazing and the drunken noodle was the best I've had..and I've had a lot of drunken noodle!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Fresh food, spicy seasoning and sweet coconut milk make a perfect combination for a delicious meal. The Thai tea is also excellent.
Chicken Pad Thai had a strong fish taste to it. The first time we ate here it was good so +1 for potential but the cross contamination is definitely an issue.
I've been putting off going here for years. Finally went this afternoon. Wish I'd gone way way earlier. REALLY good food. Reasonable priced. Let me reiterate, GOOD FOOD. REALLY GOOD. Delicious sea food.
This place has been here for 20+ years and there's a reason why. The sushi is top notch. The staff is pleasant and prompt. The dining room has recently reopened and they've done an amazingly classy remodel! I've never had a bad meal here or poor service. So happy to have this place back open for dine in!!
