Very tasty Mediterranean food. We love to find a local dive while traveling to enjoy the local cuisine. We were pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Thanks for the delicious meal.
I tried the Beef Shawarma, and it needed some more pickles and sauce. The restaurant was not clean, the floor was sticky which is a mood spoiler. Service was a bit slow too.
What a great place! 10/10 and their Arabic coffee is an 11/10 easily. I eat here all the time. Get the veggie platter!
First time I have ever been to this type of restaurant! It was amazing! Food was prepared perfectly, and was SO good! Got the falafel and kebabs. Restaurant was small but nice, and everyone working was very friendly! Just wish there was a restaurant like this closer to home, I would eat there all the time!
We really enjoyed our meal. The server was very friendly and explained the menu. Prices are reasonable 15-18 bucks for a full meal. Definately will look forward to going back.
Nice hole in the wall. You can tell this food was made with hard work and experience. The cheese bread was warm, very soft, and filled with an awesome cheese-y garlicky goodness. The Kafta was the perfect texture and the wrap itself was balanced savory, salty, and tangy between the meat and pickles, and sauce. Afterward, I got to try Knafeh for the first time. While other versions I’ve seen had the red ghee base and were thinner, this was still magnificent. The phyllo shreds were a great crunch to the creamy custard filling and sweet syrup sauce. I could’ve eaten a whole tray. Also, I recommend parking around back, as the lot in front of the restaurant is very small.
Ordered for take out today, was almost unbelievably fast getting don. Ordered a lamb kabob pita pocket, kafta kabob wrap, spinach pie, and the falafel special sandwich. All were amazing, even the falafel sandwich which honestly was much better than I expected it was going to be. All of them were well worth the price of the items as well. Best arab food I’ve had around clifton ever for sure.
I ordered delivery and was absolutely blown away. First, it super fast but wow, the food blew me away. The bun used for the Chef Falafel Special was incredible as was the filled Fatayir Bi Jibna. The Harisa/Basboosa was sweet, tasty, and the perfect end. The falafel was fresh and moist. The sandwich has garlic sauteed eggplant and delicious pickles veggies. I wanted something beyond the typical gyro and they delivered (literally and figuratively).
I give it five stars and the most delicious food they have for everything is a wonderful and distinctive taste. The shawarma sandwich, falafel and baklawa are wonderful. I tried almost everything. It is now the best restaurant I have. I advise you to taste, the chef is nice, the treatment is classy, and everything is clean ,Thank you Baladi Restaurant you are best food .????
DELICIOUS. We had the Grill Mix entree w/ the rice and fatoush salad. We also had their hummus. Everything tasted fresh and certainly hit the spot. The restaurant team was also very kind and courteous. Safe to say we’ll be back!
