Definitely get the queso or guac! Or both! I really like that you can order whatever tacos you want and not three of the same one for example. My favorite tacos are the fish, al pastor, and chicken diablo. Food has always come out fast and hot. The margs and sangria are excellent too and always have a hard time deciding which one I want. Service was quick, attentive, and personal. I love coming here!

Unfortunately, a rare miss for Bakersfield this time, as the drinks were oddly not quite up to standard. We each ordered a margarita (one regular and one with mezcal). Normally the tequila or mezcal would shine through, but this time the taste was only of the mix. In fact, we could not even taste the difference between the two margaritas. Maybe the order of limes they used for the mix this day were a bit off (extra sour) and messed up the balance? I still like the place... outdoor seating is nice, and the food is always tasty. I expect this was a one off.
We had another great date at Bakersfield. We adored the queso. I chose a Premium Margarita and loved the Valencia orange salt on the rim. The regular sized salad is too large for me to eat in one sitting, so Iâll just get a side next time.
We were looking for good Mexican food in Cincinnati for a date night and Bakersfield did not disappoint! My husband and I both rated it a 10/10 (which almost NEVER happens!) The tacos were delicious and our food came out so fast. We started with loaded queso, then shared the roasted corn side and each tried different tacos. We canât wait to come back and try the margaritas! Weâll definitely be back. Service was incredible, staff was extremely friendly. Loved the atmosphere! This is on the top of our list for dinner spots in Cincinnati!
Bakersfield is a delicious restaurant in the heart of OTR. Try at least 3 different tacos; theyâre all amazing! Drinks are delicious.
Bakersfield OTR was outstanding. The food, atmosphere and service were exceptional. Our server was Lorine and she was awesome in helping us choose what to order and made outstanding suggestions. Thanks for a great and memorable evening!
Started with a couple cocktails; The Old Fashioned and Bakersfield sour which were both amazing. The tacos were good, but overpriced for the size. The corn salad was average.
