Totally enjoyable atmosphere. The Cajun food is authentic and delicious… and the cornbread…? Make it a definite destination.

Great place to hang out, nice folks. The last time I was there the bathroom was in disrepair. This is a big reduction in rating for me......
We went for lunch and it was so good. The gumbo was the best we ever had. It wasn’t too spicy just enough kick. Also had chicken wrap and half chicken quesadilla both were yummy!
I was impressed with Allyn's on my first visit, for lunch. The menu has a nice variety of southern food, as well as standard tavern fare. Everyone in my party liked their meal. I would surely return to try other items. Very cool-looking bar area too, as well as front and rear seating areas. Bigger than it looks from the outside.

With such a great looking menu with food options for both carnivore and vegetarian waters, my family and I were really excited to try Allyn's out last Sunday for lunch. But this was a total waste of $100+. The bartender/server treated us almost with contempt like we were bothering him. Only 1 drink ordered, a Bloody Mary, was basically cocktail sauce over ice. Food was good, but not worth returning for based on poor experience. Disappointing.
I reviewed Allyn's about an hour ago. I re read my review & noticed I only gave them 1 star instead of the 5 intended . Allyn's is a great place . Big selection of beer & wine , great menu & wonderful staff . Service was excellent . The steak taco salad I had was excellent . Jalapenos so fresh I actually asked the food server if they were grown on sight . Also the creamy jalapeno salad dressing that I've never heard of was very good . I'm a blue cheese person pretty much exclusively . That jalapeno dressing is great and more appropriate for that salad .
Drove by this place so many times yet never stopped. Finally did and am very glad I did. My food was excellent tasting large portions and piping hot! Highly recommend the gator it's really good! Will absolutely be back
