Lindsay was our Server tonight! She was awesome and went way above and beyond to make our visit a great one. The service was great our service was service you rarely ever see anymore. Some of the best service I e had in Chillicothe! 100% recommend to everyone and I am looking forward to going back myself will definitely request her when I come back.
I enjoyed the service provided, food was quick and alright for the price. My meal was a bit salty but management made it right with me and was appreciative of my feedback. I cant fault a business for one bad meal especially with how nice and understanding they were.It was clean and well lit inside, very little wait time for food given the lunch rush. First tumbleweed restaurant I've ever visited!Overall, I'd recommend this location.
Went there for a late dinner while we were using the nearby supercharger. It had been a long day on the road, starting with a canceled flight that morning in Raleigh. It was less than an hour until closing time. Travis, one of the managers who was tending bar, made us feel very welcome. The homemade chips and salsa were excellent, as were the generously sized margaritas. The enchilada platter was delicious. But it was Travis who went above and beyond to make a couple of weary travelers feel right at home.
Our server was fantastic but the overall service was really bad. First of all we were there till they were closing because of a honest mistake of our server but when we did receive our food my son's and my food was cold. It was just not a very pleasant visit at all. They offered us free dessert but we had to take it to go and didn't get the whole thing because we couldn't take ice cream to go.
We ate here and had a simple meal. Two steaks, baked potatoes. The server forgot to put in our order and then joked around about it, like it didn’t matter. We drive up to Chillicothe every once in a while and like to try new places. We didn’t want to complain in front of all of his friends that he spent most of the time talking to rather than serving us. We didn’t get our food until almost an hour of waiting. We got our food wrong, i ordered medium and my steak was rare. We also didn’t get the baked potato. The croutons were old and hard. While the server was outgoing, I wouldn’t say that it was good service. The lady who brought out our food gave us better service than our own server. Not worth the price.
Waited to be seated. While waiting watched the hostess and two of the staff act like children. While waiting there was three other groups come in and waiting for a seat. The three other groups where seated while we continue to wait. That is when we decided to leave. The staff was very unprofessional and shouldn't be in a position to deal with incoming patrons. Won't be going back. The way they behave on the dinning room floor I can only imagine what's going on in the kitchen.
The service here is HORRIBLE. If It was possible I would give this establishment zero stars. The host was definitely racist, gave us very nasty looks, and had a bad attitude. After we got seated, they didn’t take our drink order until we went up and complained after fifteen minutes. When we received our order, they forgot to bring half out half of our food. When we asked for a side of sour cream, they never brought it. Finally, while we were still eating they were rushing us to leave. We ordered drink refills and they literally brought it out in to-go cups. I hope no one else wastes their time and money at this awful place.
Passing through town and haven't seen a Tumbleweed in ages. Super excited to stop by and then bar service was subpar, at best. When ordering a drink, I was told "we only have 2 options because they won't let us order anything". The people beside us got up and left shortly after we arrived. When we left at least 30 minutes later, all of their dirty dishes were STILL sitting there. The bartender only had 1 table plus us, no excuse. Watched the bartender on her phone a lot. Also watched her walk out the door to the patio to play on her phone, while my friends drink sat empty. Waited an additional 15 minutes for her to decide to come back so we could request our check and a box. Watched the manager chat with a gentleman who worked in the BOH as well, sitting at the bar off clock, and when he walked away, he didn't even bother to take a handful of dirty dishes with him. Not disappointed that we won't be passing through again anytime soon. The only reason you got 2 stars instead of one, was because Travis was the one to greet us upon arrival at the bar, although it was the end of his shift. He had great customer service, knew how to talk to folks and was still working even when he was off the clock, otherwise your phones never would have gotten answered...
The waitress did as best as she could knowing her team was a sinking ship. It took a literal hour after arrival before some of us got our food. The place wasn't packed, there was no wait to be seated, and the place was packed with young staff standing around, talking, and joking with each other. Our waitress was left to run 90mph and tend to several different tables. Once we got our food, several of our items were burnt and tasted like they had been cooked in ancient fryer oil, such as two different orders of potatoes skins and an order of pretzel bites. Drinks took a long time to be refilled, some of us didn't get our first drinks until almost half an hour. All around very dissatisfied with the experience and have no intentions of returning.
Tonight was our first visit and it was amazing. The server was cheerful and happy to help us. I can tell he was genuinely happy to be there and proud of his position. The service was exceptional. And I am horrible at spelling but Danta was his name. He was an excellent server who knows his job and does it perfectly. Without going into detail. Everything was perfect and amazing and even tho it was me and my wife this time we will for sure return with the whole family. Yall better take care of him he deserves all the praise. It was truly a delight to dine there with him as our server. I can not stress enough about how we'll we was treated tonight.
