I ordered a Hawaiian fajitas for take out and it was the nastiest thing I've ever experienced. I've enjoyed Hawaiian fajitas from so many Mexican restaurants and it's always my first choice when I see it on the menu. They should call this onion fajitas because most of what was in it was onions. One of the pieces of pineapple I had tasted fermented and the steak tasted bad. The meal was very bland and measly at best. They didn't give me the ham or bacon that was supposed to be included which leaves me to wonder how bad those could have been as well. Since I'm not ordering from here again I guess I'll never know.
Went on Cinco de Mayo so that may be why service was pretty slow since it was fairly busy with only a few servers, most who seems fairly new. Our order was good but many tables around us were having troubles with their orders (we were a table of 2 while there's were 4 or more).Classic margarita on the rocks was a bit sweet. Salsa was okay, could be a bit more flavor. Street tacos and large burrito.were good.
First time here really nice place. Definitely will swing back when we’re up here. Great customer service. Food 10/10. Recommended to give it a try!
I had a party of 8 reserved, the crew at Gracias was awesome! Friendly atmosphere, delicious food and LARGE portions of food!!! THUMBS UP?OH! Their chips and salsa..OMG! THE PITA CHIPS mix I couldn't stop eating them..so good.
They gave away our reservation. Then made us wait like half an hour for us to be seated. The waitress was rude to our party if 10. Myself and cousin were celebrating our birthdays. But the restaurant didn't do anything special for us. Even though they did for the table for the group they gave our reservation to. (People who walked in off of the street without reservation) After we were FINALLY seated it took at least 20 to 30 minutes just to get water. 1 of the guys in group didn't get his iced tea for 2 hours. She never asked if we needed refills. She waited half an hour after we got our drinks before she took our food orders. Then that took forever to arrive. The food was disgusting and way overpriced. I wish I could give this place a negative rating. But it won't let me.
Service was good, the chips and salsa were most excellent. I really enjoyed the Mango Margarita. My only issue was the music was a bit loud. I would definitely drive the 2.5 hours to have it again!
Tried Garcia's tonight for the first time. Have been hoping to find some good, authentic Mexican food in Chillicothe and am left disappointed by Garcia's. The food was bland. Very small portions for take out. The bean taco, listed under the vegetarian items, was refried beans and lettuce. The fish tacos were salty and had flour tortillas not corn. It was all just mediocre at best. Food was cold and soggy. Chips needed salt and were somewhat soft. We hail from Southern California and know what it should taste like. Tried a decent amount of items for $50. We will not be back.
We were pleasantly surprised by Garcia's. The service was excellent even though they appeared to be short staffed. Food was very good and the margaritas awesome. We had burritos and the guadalajara special. Also drank a mean margarita and a gold margarita. So good! Many times restaurants use cheap sour mix and that's all you taste. That was not the case here. Will def visit again.
My daughter, husband and I ate there for the first time today. Clean and cozy. Delicious food. Large portions, great prices. Customer service was OUTSTANDING! We will continue to eat here. Highly recommended!
This is absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant! The staff are so friendly, and the food is truly delicious. Everything we have tried, from the chips & salsa to entrees to dessert, is fantastic. Portions are huge, prices are great, and the service is excellent. We have been for lunch, and most recently to celebrate a birthday with a group of 11, and will certainly return!
