I stopped here with a friend for lunch. Having eaten here many times, I told her it was a good spot for lunch with a varied menu. Wow. We both ordered the soup of the day which was clam chowder and a small house salad. The chowder was pretty bad. Thick, pasty, and flavorless. The salad greens wer wilty and old. Very little in the salad other than the bad lettuce. Needless to say, we were both unhappy with our lunches. I do not believe she will ever return. I might, but it will be a long time before I try them again.
The chicken philly was delicious! I asked to substitute the cheese with swiss instead of provolone. I was also trying to decide if I would like the strawberry cider they had and they offered to let me taste it free of charge. It was very good!
The best experience in the 4 years of coming here. The wings were great as always but Michael P Was on top of everything he walked away hearing what I wanted and I was skeptical but he got everything right!
We are under a pandemic; so when going here.. please be patient and you will be rewarded. Outside smoking, lottery; clean bathrooms; neat atmosphere and great entertainment. Locally owned and operated :)
Food was really good portion sizes also. The wings are what they are famous for. The hospitality and cold drinks are what keep people coming back.
Burgers are great but it's the ONLY place I will get wings. Great place.
Looks like a fun place. Good people. No amount of teriyaki sauce could hide the overcooked - ok, burnt taste of the Chicken Chunks appetizers. We ordered the Hammers Homerun sandwich- described as a “tenderloin.” Warning to my Jewish friends: turns out it’s pork. But it was cooked to death / to the point where we had to ask what it was. Zero flavor. If it were a “mostly chicken” place, like a Roosters, and the menu said Tenderloin, I might have asked. But being typical Pub food, I assumed “tenderloin” meant beef. We would have been ok with the happy surprise meat of pork tenderloin- but it seriously had no flavor at all. But the bun, the lettuce tomato and onion were delicious. And the waitress was very sweet. Looked like a fun place for locals. Next time we’ll just go for a beer.
Terrible service. We waited 55 minutes for food and when asked if the appetizer was going to be coming out soon we were told they have not started making it yet. A manager never came to talk to us and our waitress disappeared during the wait so we just left.
We ordered 60 dollars worth of food. We go pick it up bring it back to work and there is literally blood on everything. We took it back and they argued saying we knew she was bleeding made no sense. And they didn't want to refund our money until we started getting loud and upset. Will never eat there again
Great food and a very helpful and friendly stuff that wears masks!
