It was a spur of the moment trip so we didn’t have a lot of time with the menu. It was very good but a bit pricey ($55/3 meals)! I also wasn’t expecting to not get bread with our meat which was a little odd for me. Planning to look at the menu a bit better before we come back next time because I’ll definitely be back (that pulled pork was goooooood ?)! Staff were all very friendly and helpful!

I used to live in a different town that had a Dickey's and I loved it, so I was very excited to see this open in Chillicothe. My husband and I got sandwiches from here when they first opened and they were good. That was during lunch hour so they were busy and the food was fresh then. Seems like there is always more management and owner involvement when places first open, so the food was fine then. This most recent time we ordered takeout on a Sunday evening. It was 5:30-6 so it wasn't like it was right before closing. The food was very disappointing though. We each ordered a three meat plate with two servings of brisket and one serving of ribs. We only got two slices of brisket each. Two slices is not the same thing as two servings, we should have got four slices each. So basically we paid for a three meat plate but only got a two meat plate. The ribs were dry. Actually they were hard, and unchewable. The brisket was also tough and dry, although not as bad as the ribs. The Dickey's I remember was generous with the BBQ sauce, not this place. Some of the sides were old and mushy and the tea was watered down. I actually requested tea with no ice so I could add my own ice at home, but they filled that cup with ice anyway. So I basically had tea flavored water. My husband did say his fried okra was okay, I'm assuming that had to be made fresh. But everything else was just sad. I told my husband that the dinner roll was the best part of the meal, which is sad. It seems they are taking a lot of cost cutting measures and the quality is suffering. I will not be surprised if they don't stay in business for more than a couple years. I can't recommend this location. I still enjoy Dickey's BBQ and would stop at other locations if I was traveling, but this location is not representative of the company as a whole. It's not cheap either so to anyone considering eating here, just don't. Take your money elsewhere.

My online order has been canceled two out of the three times I have ordered due to them being "out" of my meat selection. The one time that I did recieve my order, it was subpar (dry, old & cold). Don't waste your time. Very rude management as well. They won't be in business long.

Lots of meat for your money. Not the best food experience though. All the food was room temperature and precut and dry.Not what you expect to find at a barbeque restaurant.

Was OK. went on a weekday for lunch. Was pretty pricey for the sizes we got. Paid 40 bucks for wings and pulled pork. The meat was okay, roll Was dry, Mac n cheese was dry. BBQ sauce seemed watered down. Weird vibe. Management and employees didn't seem happy to talk to you. An older guy was too busy talking to his friends then his customers. Wasn't busy at all. Such a pretty building. The cashier didn't seem to know what she was doing.I'd recomemd roosters or bbw.

The day (time) we visited the employees outnumbered the guests so we had exceptionally good service. The barbecue was OK, Didn't really care for the sides. The bartender didn't know how to make the drink we ordered, but did a good job following a recipe. Found it very strange that I needed to use the ATM to get cash for a tip because there was no place on the bill to add a tip.

Went on a weeknight and ribs were dry. Manager was great to exchange for brisket sandwich which was equally dry. Hubby liked the smoked sausage sandwich. Very expensive wine singles.

It looks good and all but they're too expensive to take a gamble on!! I've talked to MANY people about this place and they many seem to have had similar experiences. But this was MY experience...... We've tried it 3 separate times and ALL THREE TIMES we were given NOTHING but FAT in at least 1 out of 5 meals! The first time I thought, hey man... No big deal. They'd just opened, maybe they were short on supplies or staff, whatever... no biggie. So I took the loss & gave them the benefit of a doubt. The second time I was pretty disappointed, but again thought 'Well they haven't been open too long....' kinda gave them the same excuse. The third and FINAL time was last month. Once again, I foolishly gave them over $100 of my money, we ordered 5 plates of the beef brisket(×2) (4 regular adult meals & one kids meal) & two of them had ZERO meat whatsoever, like not even a bite! I've worked in the service industry & because of that I'm ALWAYS a little more understanding & grateful than the average person. I don't mind paying the price for quality or even tipping VERY well...but we were severely disappointed not to mention having to go get dinner for 2 of my family members elsewhere.... To say it was frustrating is an understatement! Call me a Karen, say what you will, but they will NEVER get our money EVER again! ??

I ordered the 3 meat plate once the food was delivered the meat was so greasy I got sick after eating a few bites of the brisket and all of the grease soaked into the other meat also and ruined it they put it together in the same container. They also gave me baked beans into of green beans which was disgusting the only thing good out of the whole meal was the roll, mac n cheese.

The staff was fantastic and the food is delicious.
