I was hungry for a meatball sandwich. At Old Scratch I had an order of meatballs and salad. It was terrific. The red sauce was a very good taste. It reminded me a bit of Vito's spaghetti sauce. The salad was very good. The dressing had just a touch of sweetness.I would like the meatballs a little hotter, but all in all I am anxious to return.
We love pizza! The fried Bologna pizza was unique and amazing! Plus they have a sour beer!
while it wasn't the BEST pizza I've ever had, I preferred it over the chain places like Papa John's and Cassanos. decent service time, friendly order taker and they had no problem giving us a ranch dip in place of the garlic butter dip. that dip was basically melted butter. no garlic taste at all. nice atmosphere and pizza was ok, so we'll be back probably
+$15 for 2 cups of iceberg. Ridiculous. Salads used to be huge and management promises that nothing has changed and distribution issues (excuses). I make salads daily and could make this for $3. Between $40 I got 2 salads that I'll eat in 10 seconds. It's sad since I love supporting local but this is highway robbery. Don't eat in unless you want screaming children in your ear until close. Brats almost knocked my 100 year old grandmother over. No one was supervising +12 kids who were running around and screaming. 1/10 food is great but yeah. Do better Centerville.
This is a great local restaurant with good food, lots of craft beers on tap, and a cool, modern dining space. The crust on the pizza is what sets them apart from other pizza places. The Angry Beekeeper pizza is unique and definitely the one to go for. House salads are also great and come with a slice of the crust on the side. Only problem I have experienced here is the line can be long on the weekends during dinner, but for good reason.
We tried this pizza place about a month ago. We were new and the girl who took our order was very sweet and explained the process. The pizzas were pretty pricey. I found the pizzas in general had little flavor. We did like the uniqueness of the Angry Beekeeper. The honey made it taste nice. I may give them another try, but my first impression was not the best. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. One of our pizzas came out a tad overcooked (we never complained), but our server brought us another one at no charge.My eating for food flavor was a 3 star, but the service was a 4 star.Worth giving them a try to see what you think
We had a great experience. We came early on a Friday evening and by 5:30pm it was pretty busy. We were able to eat outside. I wish their patio was bigger and had more shade, but still nice to have. The food was great. As someone who has food allergies I really appreciate the vegan and gluten options. I also appreciate the care they take in preparing and cooking allergy foods.
First timers for this pizza, but we will definitely be back! Only one size pizza (12") and one crust (thin), ample toppings and oh so tasty. We had the deluxe and chicken bacon ranch and some left over for lunch tomorrow! Fountain Coke products along with beer, wine and limited adult beverages available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Military discount available. Highly recommend Old Scratch Pizza!
Very inviting atmosphere! It has a separate ordering station for pizza and beer. The pizza is brick fired style with in house made ingredients. It's really good. Service here was great and everyone we spoke to was nice. We'll be back for sure.
Always so good. My opinion is there crust is perfection. The right amount of flavor, chewing us cooked to well perfection. My only complaint is the toppings were very carelessly piled on the pizza and not spread across. Still tasted great
