The waitress was so nice and helpful. French onion soup was delicious. Had the fish sandwich big enough to split, it was great. Husband had the meatloaf sandwich also delicious. We tried the potato wedges and house made chips both were a hit dipped in their house made ranch yum. Can't wait to go back
First time here, food was good. The following are my thoughts on all the food items we tried. Cheese pizza - really not into the crust. It was tough, really tough. Super cheesy though. Cheeseburger, amazing. So so juicy. Little under seasoned. Kobe burger, overcooked, a little dry and under seasoned. Wedges = amazing. Onion rings and sauce, also top tier. Coleslaw was good, very creamy with Celery seed. Chili was a little sweet. But I liked it.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Waitress was pleasant to deal with and had a good sense of humor. But the food was lack luster. I had the ribs and of course they were boiled to make them tender. Yes they through them on the grill for grill marks. But that's all. The bbq sauce was what made them edible. The salad was better than expected.
Always great food with a large variety of food around. The grilled chicken, meatloaf, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, soups, appetizers, desserts - everything! Best homemade ranch dressing around. They have the best and most organized curbside around. Hands down one of our favorites
Doubleday's has incredible food at reasonable prices. Definitely one of my favorite pizzas around, but they have something for every palette there. The curbside service was really great!
An all time favorite! I recommend the bacon cheese fries as an appetizer, any sandwich like their 5 cheese grilled cheese add bacon and no matter what sandwich you choose always upgrade to their fresh made pretzel bun, and if you’re going for supper they have the best chicken pot pie you'll ever have.
My family and I went to Doubledays the other night and the food was great with large portions. Service was excellent. The food came quickly and drinks were never empty. Our waitress, Morgan paid great attention to detail and had a sense of humor. It's uncommon to find solid service in this day and age. We were pleasantly surprised and plan on returning.
We've eaten here a couple times in the last few weeks due to its nearness to my wife's doctor. My last visit Doubledays was still in its previous location, like this location/setup better. I've had both their lunch special personal pizza, as well as their "Monster Pizza." Both were superb, great crust and generous toppings. My wife has tried both a burger and fish, really like both. We were also impressed by our servers who were friendly and efficient. Although it's bit of a trek for, this is now our destination restaurant.
Food was really good. Service started off good then declined the longer we were there. They were out of pretzel buns and onion rings. Visited on a Saturday evening, the wait was maybe 15 min to be seated. We will definitely be back.
Customer service is great and they checked in with me often. Food is delicious. I enjoyed a fish sandwich with onion rings and fresh broccoli with fresh ice tea.
