The sandwich was actually very good. For $9.70 the amount of turkey was terribly skimpy. My biggest complaint was that I had to remake the entire sandwich. The turkey was dumped in a glob in the middle of the bread and the cheese slice was falling out the back. There were no customers the whole time I was there so there should have been ample time to make the sandwich properly. Maybe it's my peeve but I want meat and cheese in all the bites not just three with the rest with bread only..
The baked goods are fantastic as you might expect. But what you might not expect is the quality of their sandwiches. They really are one of the best sandwich spots around for lunch. Do yourself a favor and try one on their croissant.Every time I've been here the staff has been very friendly and service was quick.
I was doing great on my diet until I came in to buy some butter this morning (they also sell butter), and I saw a monkey bread, so of course I bought it. Every single thing here I think, "This is the most delicious pastry I have ever had." And then I try something I haven't tried before. This place is fantastic, and not just for Dayton, it's fantastic anywhere and when we move I will probably cry and gorge myself on morning rolls before I leave. Also the family who owns this bakery is so incredibly kind and lovely. Just love them! God bless them! The texture for the cinnamon roll is perfect, chewy, and rich and the cinnamon they use is delicate and comforting. LOVE.
The bakery goods were delicious, would definitely recommend coming here and definitely come back and we would come early in the day.
This is my third visit to this place and every time it’s lived up beyond my expectations. The staff is very friendly and the pastries are devine. I’ve tried several items on the menu and still can’t decide on a favorite, they are all so good!!
We visited on Christmas Eve. The place was hopping with guests and others picking up holiday orders. The staff, despite being busy, were sooo friendly and took time to help us decide on goodies since it was our first visit. Everything we tried was incredible! Loved the crossiants, the best we have ever had! We can't wait to try our German stollen tomorrow for Christmas! Overall, absolutely amazing staff and delicious baked goods! Thank you. We will be back!
A great bakery in Centerville. The staff are exceptional and you get a sense of home. The bread is baked fresh everyday. The selection is huge. I tried the apricot cheesecake danish. The brownie is a must. Subtle sweetness with chocolate and cocoa flavor. The best one in recent memory. Pair with an ice cream it would be the best. I would definitely go again.
Boosalis is our favorite bakery. We always research to find the "best of [insert food]" when we travel and I have yet to eat a sweet food as delicious as a Kouign Amann at Boosalis (I do not normally have a sweet tooth until you give me one of those). We had some last week and I don't know how it is possible for something to taste so good (texture, flavor are perfect). I'd rather eat one of those over just about anything. Boosalis is clearly passionate about perfecting something with the highest standard. It is obvious Matt in particular loves what he does and we are blessed to be able to benefit from that passion!
I had an egg and ham croissant and scone. Best scone ever. Everything looked delicious. Matt seems passionate about what they bake.
Absolutely delicious & delightful bakery. My first visit there was with my kids & their friends. Owner was there to greet us & handed out samples. You can absolutely tell he loves what he does & wants it done right( no cutting corners). Left with a few pastries & there were almost all gone even before I pulled out of the parking lot. Everything melted in your mouth. Kouign amanns( incredible), Danishes, coffee cake, breads, everything was delicious. You can absolutely tell there heart & soul in every item that is made there. Tells you a lot about the owner ( Mr Bioosalis) & his commitment to make pastries and bread the way it should be made. The staff there were kind & very friendly too. Thank you for being in Dayton.
