I'm not a huge Mexican food fan because I have the terrible "cilantro tastes like soap" gene, but it was excellent. Excellent beer. Good prices. Great food.
The food was only average compared to most other Mexican restaurants. Ordered a whole pitcher of margaritas for 2 people and felt nothing at all after usually drinking half a pitcher of margaritas. Pretty sure they forgot to add the tequila. The pitcher was pretty expensive too.
Some of the best Mexican food I've had in awhile! Absolutely great service and great people!!
UPDATE: service has gone downhill. This is now 2x back to back where we’ve had bad service, they did not bring water after asking a couple times, got the food- still no water. Ordered a cocktail- didn’t bring it, finally got the mixed drink and waters after asking another server if he could help us outWe’ve had fantastic food and a good experience each time we’ve been. Food is very flavorful. This is our go to location.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You gotta try their large Margaritas. Sandy said it was the best she ever had. We will go back.Kid-friendliness: Nice family atmosphere. Kids will love this place, too.Parking: Plenty of parking. Handicap parking as well.
1st time at anyone of the restaurants and it wasn't to bad, I say get there early they pack them in quick and still have a line.
We’ve eaten here a lot over the last couple of years. It’s close to our house and very convenient, but the quality of the food is so inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good and most of the time it’s not. We stopped getting take out because the food was always cold by time we got home. We took our son recently for his birthday and the food was just gross. The rice was inedible. And it just seemed to take a long time even though they weren’t that busy. I don’t think I’ll be returning any time soon.
Tlaquepaque is a great experience! We went to the Easton location on a spontaneous moment. Glad we went. I had a seafood burrito and it tasted great! Plus, I could use a coupon out of the local Max Values monthly coupon book and brought the cost down. I couldn't eat it all so I boxed it up and I will take it to work for lunch. The server was polite and got our food to us quickly. I highly recommend this place for Tex Mex cuisine.

Sat down to a mostly empty restaurant, got asked for drink orders before the whole party was even seated in the booth. Ordered drinks and received promptly and was asked for order, responded we need a minute to read the menu and Ordered queso. Got the queso and never saw the waiter again. 4 servers walked by our table during the 25 minutes we waited for his return. When our waiter had to walk by our table he held up a to go container to block his face so he couldn't see us. Do not recommend.
