We have been coming here for years and it was amazing. Lately it has been awful. It has really been slipping. We’ve ordered take out twice and been told they don’t have the pasta I wanted or the chicken dish I wanted also the meat sauce is terrible. When dining in the service is less than stellar as well. We have given the 3 times you’re out college try. It’s really sad, we really used to enjoy it.

We have been having family gatherings at Papa bears for years. We have had many pleasant experiences there ,however this last time, the service was terrible. They were informed of the large party coming from my Uncle's funeral well in advance. The servers initially brought 6 rolls per table of 12 and brought no more until halfway through service(another 6). We all received one glass of soda on the inside tables and didn't get any refill until the very end when we were leaving. They didn't split the checks until the end which separating the orders in the beginning would have reduced so much confusion. They didn't know who ordered what when they brought the food out just what table it was at. The food was still amazing as always but the service was terrible.
Absolutely never disappoints one of the best true to Old world Italians coming to America and making pizza here for the first time just amazing Pizza would recommend to anyone from anywhere. Sausage is very flavorful they've been using the same products for so many years it feels like home when you're eating there if you're from the area and know
Every time I come here to pick up an order they're either slow as Moses or have a problem with their system and didn't get/realize they had the order. The food is delicious but if you rely on their take out for any reason be prepared to wait forever. This isn't the first time I've had to wait 30-60 minutes past pick up time. It is absolutely ridiculous and you should do better.
Not what it used to be. Papa Bear's used to be a reputable restaurant with good food. Slowly, the portion sizes have become smaller and the service has become spotty. Although the taste hasn't changed, portion sizes of pasta have become substandard and are better suited for lunch, rather than a filling dinner.

If you want a seat you should call ahead and make a reservation. We had to wait over 45 mins to get a seat because not all of the staff had shown up. Food was good and our server was awesome
The best local spot in Belden Village! The waitress will bring my sons fries out early. So sweet! The menu is pretty big too. I like the healthier chicken options. The food is consistently delicious! (Try the pasta fagioli soup.) It really is a wonderful family restaurant with a nice atmosphere.
Really fancy and clean. Staff are super polite and the food was delicious! Only issue was the food is verry expensive for the portions given.. and we were there for 2 hours between the time we were seated till the time we were brought back our check so we could leave. I would go again! Just maybe not unless it's a special occasion.
