Got a carry out order on a Friday evening. The ribs were on the tough side. Hard to get off the bone. No bark. No smoke ring. Lacked seasoning and taste. The brisket was more like pot roast. No seasoning. No smoke ring. Very wet. For sides we had Mac and cheese and green beans. We enjoyed both. Barbecue should always taste smoky and seasoned. This was just meat.
Horrible horrible horrible!!! Food was cold and awful. For $50 I would expect better. Portions were small. Brisket didnt have a smoke ring…which you should expect if it where a “smoked brisket” mac n cheese just horrendous watery and awful. Boxed mac n cheese taste better. And that is saying something. Stay away!!!Also the utensils that you are supposed to eat off of are stored near the pop machine in a bin with the handles facing down!! Just gross!!
I recommend the brisket and their original smoke barbecue molasses sauce, it was awesome
Good food. Average price. Some times it's better than the last. Hit or miss .
Not surprised the place was empty. Used to be my go-to place for ribs when in Canton. The worst I've ever had. Hard and dry. Clearly from at least two days prior.
The staff was so friendly. It was very busy and lots going on. There were a few things that went wrong (due to normal restaurant complications) and the staff handled everything so well. It made me happy to see how the staff interacted with each customer. The food was also great and it was delivered to the table hot and fresh!
Unbelievable service and amazing food! Had an open house at work, and needed to cater the event. Old Carolina I Shanda down the best!!!! Thank you to the Manager and the staff for VIP service! The employees and guests are raving about the food and we will be using Old Caroline for many future events! Thank you!
Avoid this location!! Stopped in on 11/19 for what was supposed to be a quick dinner and it took 10 min to even have someone take our order (no one in line in front of us) and then took FORTY FIVE MINUTES for our 2 meals to come out. It should never take an hour from walking in to eating at a place like this.
The family meal/feasts are the way to go if you're bringing the family! So much food and so yummy at an awesome price! Definitely a family favorite for us. Travels well for to go/delivery as well!
