If you want bland overpriced food go here. Wait staff seemed to hate life and wasn't engaging. The whole atmosphere left a bad taste in my mouth, as we walked in the host ask "can I sit them in you area?" to a waitress and she said "no", that started the whole bad experience. Or how about leaving my food under a heat lamp for to long and dried it out. The fries have no seasoning, very bland. The Ruben was tasteless. Least the ketchup has flavor. The prices are way overpriced for what you get, 4 dollars extra to SUB broccoli instead of fries. I would melt far away from here.
I absolutely love this Melt location! I will also preface this review with the fact that our server Aaron was one of my favorite servers I've ever had!This location entrance is right near the entrance to the mall, and one benefit to that is that there's always ample parking within walking distance. This location does a great job at keeping the music at a good level to ensure great table conversation without feeling like the people next to you can hear what you're saying.I am never disappointed by Melt. Their extensive menu, even with their changes, is far and beyond what so many other places offer, including their vegan options.My favorite item to start with is the tofu wings by far and if you have not had the awesome sauce yet I highly recommend. It's spicy but so unique tasting. A great change up from barbecue and I also recommend trying it with the vegan cowboy sauce!I didn't know that this location offered brunch and many of the items can be veganized. I chose a big plate and of course my favorite as I could have expected was the tofu bacon. I think I could eat actual pounds of this stuff. The vegan egg is incredible, the sausage was fantastic, the potatoes were a great addition and overall just an amazing experience.Aaron was beyond compare, totally putting up with my mom and I being silly, and every staff member I interacted with was so kind and seriously... When you walk in a place as a guest and you're immediately greeted it can change your entire experience but let's be real...From start to finish this last visit was 10/10!!!
I used to go to the Melt location in Cleveland and wanted to try out this Canton site. Safe to say it's just as delicious as I remember! These sandwiches are definitely filling but taste amazing. Even a simple grilled cheese (with whatever cheese you want) and tomato soup is amazing. And the prices are very reasonable as well. If you're a fan of grilled cheese, even just a little, try Melt's wide variety of sandwiches. They also have a great drink menu.
Heard about you on 95.5 the Fish radio station and decided to try it.French onion soup was excellent. The BBQ pork sandwich needed more cheese and BBQ sauce. They gave me more BBQ sauce. The fries were excellent as well. Great bartender and host!
I took my son out for lunch. He told me he was trying to figure out the decor; there was pumpkins, ghosts, an alien, Santa, and the Easter bunny sitting on shelves. They looked like the cheap, plastic lawn figures from the 50's or 60's. Turns out, they are valuable porcelain (I believe) collectibles that the owner likes to showcase. VERY cool. Food: my son got the macaroni cheese melt, deep fried, with bacon and French fries. The sandwich needed a little more seasoning; it was one dimensional. The fries were zesty with perfect seasons. We split the artichoke dip which was my favorite, a lot of spinach and great cheesy flavor. Also sampled the deep fried mozzarella which I am glad they opted for the high quality mozzarella. The breading wasn't too thick and the marina was the perfect complement. A little pricey, but overall a great change of pace when you are looking for something NOT on your diet list.
Overall the food is good, I love the restaurant, but somehow items are missing from my order 1/3 of the time. I just feel in my personal opinion it's too expensive for items to be missing, or wrong items to be placed in my order. I understand mistakes happen, but it's far too often here. Also prices went up, as they should, but for a kids burger we used to get the whole patty on even half of sandwich, now it's just half of a patty for a higher price. The service could be a little better for me, and when that happens I will change my review. Thanks for the good service 2/3 of the time.
The food is kind of hit or miss. One day we go for breakfast it was great, and the next week it's horrible. One day we go for lunch and the grilled cheese and potato chips are good, but the fries are soggy and the mac and cheese is bad. Lovely atmosphere and waiters though. :)
Brian our waitor was awesome & Nick was super friendly checking out. Food was super yummy, decor was nice. Great place 2 eat w/ lots of options on menu!
Very cool place that was surprisedly considerate with dietary restrictions. I was surprised there were so many vegan options!Our server was very kind and the service was prompt. Over all a great experience and we will be back!
Found this place by accident as we looked for a place for dinner. It's on the outside of the mall with nice patio seating area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice beer selection. Great selection and options. Food was plentiful and very tasty. If I was in the area, I could see this as a fun place to hang out.
