I have to say this was a one and done visit! Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted as if we disrupted the woman standing behind the counter. She never made eye contact and kept watching her phone the whole time. I’m assuming she was watching a video and we were an inconvenience.When asked about drinks for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children under 11) we said one water and the other 3 fountain drinks, she apparently was to engaged with her video to hear us so I guess she just assumed we were all just waters.With the bill coming to $46+ I didn’t think to look at the receipt about drinks, so imagine my surprise when I asked about fountain drinks and I was looked at like I had three heads.So now since there was another charge for drinks that the cashier up front missed - cause you know, her video was WAY more important than paying customers - I was asked for $6 more.Now the total was $52+ not that I’m upset about that, it’s the principle! Had the cashier paid attention to the paying customer we wouldn’t have had this at all!The reason for the other star was there was ONE very nice man…he saw my grandson was looking for something and he personally came over when the food was coming out and informed him. For an adult to treat my grandson with that respect was wonderful and worth the tip I handed him.Enter at ur own risk and make sure the cashier looks at you and understands what you’re asking for!Good Luck!
Great Food . A lot of variety of food 2 choose from . If ur in town , stop by & have a great meal . Reasonable .
We come here bc it the kids favorite spot to go to and each time we come here it's a problem w the same lady and how we sit we always ask to sit at a 8 table which it shouldn't matter bc just like today we been in here and only one group of people has came into this restaurant it's a shame how the head waiter handings things and talks hits her hands together and everything gets in a group with the workers and talk mess about how we ask to sit at a bigger table it'll be different if it was packed or if it was reserved for someone else and it's empty in her and there is still a whole other side the head waiters customers service is terrible unprofessional and she's plan disrespectfulWe try not to come her bc each time it's only her that acts like this and yelling while others are eating outrageous
Awesome Asian buffet. Hibachi, sushi you name it they got it, huge selection. All food was on point and restaurant was clean...staff were constantly cleaning the floor and refilling drinks. A+!
Katana has always been my favorite Chinese buffet restaurant, by far the best food at any buffet in this area. I went with my family to celebrate my sons birthday on a Sunday morning, the prices are definitely not cheap here, now any child over the age of 10 is considered an adult, which was surprising. For Sunday dinner prices I did not think the food was anything amazing. I did love the hibachi however, very good. The wonton soup was already mushy after only 30 minutes since they opened and some of the food was surprisingly cold and didn’t taste freshly cooked in my opinion. But my biggest complaint would be the service. The server was very rude and unprofessional. She barely said a word, never smiled and acted like we were an inconvenience to be waited on. My one year daughter did make a bit of a mess in the high chair which I was going to clean up after we were finished, in the middle of our meal the server came and was sweeping under the table and under our feet as we were eating and trying to enjoy our meal. I apologized for my daughter’s mess and she did not respond. At the end of our meal I left $5 in quarters for the tip, trying to lighten my purse. The server walked over, asked if that was the tip, when I said yes, she replied that she did not need it, for me to just keep it very rudely and dumped the change onto the table right in front of me. I was mortified and very upset that I was treated that way. Sadly I may think twice before returning to what used to be my go to Chinese buffet.

First time coming here. Food was good. It was packed and we got a table quickly. I really can't wait to come back. Waitress kept our glasses full and plates cleared. She did suggest a tip, which I was happy to leave, as I don't leave one before service. I did not feel bullied as others have stated. The lady was polite about it.
Great buffet really good food that is fresh. A great selection that isn't just left to dry out and become old. Staff very pleasant and hard working the place is clean. A little more attention could be given to the restrooms as they weren't the best I have seen worse. Will definitely go there again as it is very reasonably priced
Staff does nothing and expects a tip? Most of the food was trash. Please go somewhere else. It's just not worth it. Tipping someone is for their service, you get no service, just strange to me. I could go to any amazing restaurant with great food and people for the same price. Wish you could give a place 0 stars. It's not a 3 star restaurant I can promise you that! The restaurant charges your credit card extra so make sure you take your receipt, and don't leave the tip line empty. The place is shady. They must have staff on here writing reviews to make it look better because There is absolutely no way in hell this place is even close to 3 stars!!!
I've been to this place multiple times. They have a pretty decent buffet, but the service is almost always terrible. A friend & I went in this morning for lunch. They weren't very busy at all. I paid with my debit card, and left a $2 tip prior to being seated.. I asked the waitress if I could have a booth and she said "No more booths." I looked around the room and noticed numerous open booths. I began to point one out to her to ask if we could sit there, but she literally walked away from me while I was speaking to her. I was going to ask to be moved to a different section (with a different waitress because she was rude from the moment we walked in) but my friend told me not to worry about it, she said the table would be fine, so we sat down and ate there. As I had mentioned before, I paid with a debit card prior to being seated so I had already left a tip on the card. Now, normally I would leave a few dollars in cash but she was awfully rude, so I decided that the card tip was all I was giving her. Mind you, I only spent $20 anyways. So, my friend and I start walking out the door and the waitress comes after me and says "Wait! You forgot tip!" I turned around and said "excuse me? I tipped you a couple dollars on my card before we were seated." She said "No tip." So again, I told her that I had already left a tip on my card. She then looks at me and says "Don't leave, let me check receipts " I didn't wait, I knew that I tipped her and I walked out the door.My thing is, how are you going to chase a customer out the door asking for a tip? I had already tipped her $2, but the way she acted towards me made me wish that I hadn't even given her that. I will not be returning to Katana.
