Haven't been here in over 6 months as last visit the food wasn't on point. WELL, this time, my yellow curry was to die for! ??Hubs ordered Chicken Hunan. Each dish had just the right amount of heat. We also ordered the blackened tuna sashimi for an appetizer, it was so fresh and delicious..Only complaint is the booth seats need replaced. I sunk in a big cracked hole ...? and had to be helped out!
Business has greatly gone down Hill. Used to love the 30th St Location and service visited every month for special dinner, but recently visited Belden and management is terribly RUDE. Manager questioned my family and i who Had a reservation and made us wait long despite me saying we called and had called. Came around to ask how dinner was and I told him it was not as good as usual, Dragon Phoenix had little spice and less flavor. he said kitchen backed up. Kitchen backed up ok excuse for poor flavor? Did not care to fix our unfortunate time. We will not return to Jasmine and it is unfortunate how much the food quality and management has gone downhill
My husband and I had an early dinner at the 30th St. location on 4/2/22. Our male server was great but there were other servers present that ruined the entire experience. I've had dinner here in the past and usually the atmosphere is very inviting. On this particular day there was one server that was very disruptive. Apparently she felt the need to let the entire restaurant know what was on her mind. She talked loud and incessantly...even threw an F bomb out during her conversation for all to hear. She felt the need to sit at the table next to us and turn Happy Feet on the flat screen, and continued to rant to her co-workers about absolutely nothing (again loudly). My husband and I just wanted to enjoy a nice dinner out. Instead, we left frustrated and disappointed because we couldn't enjoy our own conversation due to being forced to listen to hers. We will not go back to the 30th St. location again.
Excellent dinner choice! We love Asian cuisine and this was some of THE best crafted sushi rolls, sashimi & Asian dishes we have had in a long time. Beautiful & tasteful decor, quiet at 8pm on a Wednesday which was wonderful! Excellent music playlist of Classic rock. Server Megan knew her menu & was the perfect balance of conversationalist, and timely attending to our table. Highly recommend.
Atmosphere & service were better than the food. The atmosphere, service, and menu prices had me mistaken that the food would be good. Not the case. Disappointing. Rice was not fresh, gyoza appeared to be the frozen ones from supermarkets. Sauce on the general tsos chicken was alright, but the chicken was not fresh and breading was not crispy. Pretty soggy and chewey. Other people in our party would not touch the lobster because it looked and smelled of questionable quality. Even the iced tea was lackluster. Much of the food was left behind. Definitely not what I expected at a $70 price for two people.
Delicious meal in the most cozy environment. Our waitress was wonderful and so helpful.
My much anticipated new year's eve take out dinner! I went in to order, there was a bit of a wait but it was a holiday, the ambiance was beautiful and my waitress/bartender (Britney, I think) was very helpful and friendly. Once our food finally arrived it LOOKED picture perfect, which was exciting. However, it had no taste and I mean none! I was quite disappointed, there was nothing else open by the time we sat down to eat and I had paid a pretty penny for it which I'm willing to do for good food. It was not. Staff was visibly flustered, and being pulled in several different directions so I can only imagine what the kitchen was like. Hopefully it was just a miss that very busy night. I may give it another try eventually.
We have loved this place for many years but yesterday we ordered lunch for carry out. 74 $ plus a 5$ tip and it was the worst meal we have ever had. The general Tso chicken was very over cooked and nearly impossible to chew. I imagine it’s left over from many days. The egg rolls were the only delicious thing. The chicken pad Thai had like 2 small pieces chicken and tasted old. This was our last order from there. It has slowly been going down hill.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Be aware that they have "Covid Hours" and close earlier than any time that is posted publicly anywhere. My husband and I rarely get a date night without the toddlers in tow, however an opportunity presented for us to sneak out for a quick bite and we showed up to this establishment at 9pm on a Thursday evening. We were immediately greeted by an incredibly snarky hostess, who let us know promptly that the kitchen closed at 9:30pm. Confused by her attitude and the timing, we told her we thought the restaurant closed at 10pm per the website, the door sign and the hours listed here and on Yelp. She rudely told us that we were wrong and that they have had "Covid Hours" for a while now. This individual had made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome that even after being seated we felt we couldn't enjoy what little time we had out together, so we left. We will not be returning. Customer service can truly make or break an experience. Had the correct times been published by the establishment we would've never chosen that restaurant--we don't want to be the customer that keeps the employees from getting to go home to their loved ones. We understand that time is precious--we won't be spending any of ours there.
good food, great atmosphere... now if only we can get the servers to walk up to the door to great people instead of screaming across the restaurant... kind of ruins the chill vibe...
