Hate to leave a bad review as I normally love this place but I just had a truly baffling delivery experience that needs addressed. My wife and I are very sick at the moment so we asked them to leave the food at the door so we didn’t get the driver sick. We left a 25% cash tip with a note under the door mat as well so that we would not have to sign for anything. On camera, the driver throws the note out of her car into our driveway. She then backs out into our yard, almost taking out a light post, before doing a full 180 IN OUR YARD to turn out of our driveway. Our driveway is two cars wide and empty there was no reason to do this. Truly insane behavior that needs corrected.

This is probably some of the nastiest Chinese food I have ever eaten - General TSO's chicken was soggy like a sponge, meat was skeptical, hot and sour soup had no flavor - egg rolls were good. asked for a lot of hot mustard and duck sauce I got one of each... The had really bad stomach cramps for 24 hours and sat on the porcelain god for 3 hours - it was like Niagara falls - wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Excellent food! Try everything on the menu! Always, always, always consistently excellent and fairly priced! An asset to the community! On a diet? Get it steamed add some hot sauce its all good. Ready in 10 minutes most of the time! I don't know how they doit but they work hard and and the food is great, best in town! See you in 10 Minutes!

China Star earns all five stars.I Was searching for some untampered general tso's (mainly the sauce). Our local establishments have changed their sauces. Not for the better I might add. China Star has not tampered with the sauce. Owners/employees were friendly. Restaurant was clean and freshly mopped.Prices were norm.

I can't believe how disappointed I am in this food. I spent $58 on this crap. Hot & Sour soup tasted like water. Singapore Mei Fun was so bland! Look at the egg on it. That's alone should be embarrassing enough and it was on TOP so its not like they didn't see it!! I've had better General Tsos from the microwave. I was so excited they deliver to me. But NEVER again. Just don't. Loong Fung and Chinatown kitchen are light-years better.

Followed reviews here and from facebook but was very disappointed. Store was very dirty, food was flavorless but plentiful. I dont see the value here. China Kitchen on W tusc is much much better

The Chicken with Black Pepper is one of the tastiest dishes I've had. We like their General Tso's Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Beef and Broccoli, Beef and Peppers, fried rice, egg rolls, and wantons. We've had decent, prompt customer service. This is the Chinese restaurant we always go back to. Prices are reasonable.

I heard about China Star while I waited in line at the BMV from Craig. He commented that it was really great and yes it is. I had large vegetable egg fu yong with spring roll and white rice twice in 3 days and it feeds 2 for under $10 each time. High quality. Nice people. Great food. Low prices. Free fortune cookie. Free carved chop sticks. Clean and plenty of chairs. Even a chunk of cardboard at the bottom of the sack to make it stronger.

Always ontime big helpings and very good

Fantastic place and service! my order is typically ready within minutes of ordering over the phone, which is fantastic since i live nearby. the family is always very helpful. definitely a great local asian restaurant!
