Great place and we'll worth the money! Apple Dumpling and Chunky Monkey sundae.
The only complaint I have (I'm sure) is a common complaint is that parking is difficult to find. With that exception, the service is wonderful, the food is good, and the ice cream is on par with any of the best in town. I highly recommend stopping by, sitting in, or even just grabbing on the go.
Quaint hometown Icecream shop. Hand dipped each time. Small dining room. Parking is on street and minimal but worth the walk!
We have been coming back here for 40 years. This neighborhood restaurant and ice cream parlor hasn't changed much. Miss the player piano though..... the ice cream flavors list is long and the food menu covers anything you might be hungry for. Try the signature ice cream called The Bittner, it has plenty of pecans, but I recomend an extra order because they are yummy by themselves.
We stopped at Taggart's thanks to a recommendation from the staff at the Pro Football HOF, and were NOT disappointed! The ice cream was delicious, and there are a ton of different specialty menu items to choose from! Highly recommend the S'mores Parfait, layers of ice cream, marshmallows, and frosted chocolate cake!! DELICIOUS!! The prices are very reasonable too, cheaper than Dairy Queen, and much different!
The food is pretty good and our orders are almost always correct. The peanut butter fudge ice cream is delicious, and so are the brownies... My only complaint would be the doneness of the burgers. I've ordered medium and medium rare, but they are always well done (medium well, at best).
A Great place, huge servings, go there hungry instead of after a meal for dessert. A canton landmark that everyone who likes ice cream will enjoy . Butter pecan with whole pecans I have never had before I went here. Delicious..Delicious ?
Was recommended by a person I met while visiting Canton to go to taggart's. So I did and the ice cream is okay it is absolutely nothing special but decent and respectable. However when I walk into the store and there's a security guy in front of the customers between one of the serving areas and the cash register pretty much standing is a barrier between the customer and the employee it was a major major turn off. It was a very unwelcoming and a wrong message to send to customers
I got the blueberry pie, holy cow, sooooo good. Not sure what hubby got but he certainly devoured it and raved over it
Wow! The ice cream selections are amazing. The portions are very generous. Taste great!
