Waitress was excellent, food & manager...HORRIBLE!!

We are in town for a bowling tournament and tried to eat here. We had a group of twenty but told we were fine to be separated in groups of 4. They refused to seat any of us! They turned away twenty paying customers that would have averaged over $50 person probably $75 each. Noone was rowdy. Everyone was dressed proper. Food smells good. Never got in the door!

Just came there for dinner. My husband and I normally love your place. Although tonight we left very disappointed. Food was great so no complaints there but as a fellow bartender/server; my waitress was horrible. Erica G, learn to be a little friendlier with your guests. Never came back to my table after my food was delivered. Both of our drinks sat empty for almost 20 minutes. As we sat at our table watching every other server including the hostess seem like they were doing a great job. smiling, very friendly, attentive to their tables, our server was nowhere to be found. When she finally came back to our table a half hour later I asked for boxes and a check. I always tip 20% or more and tonight I left close to nothing. Hopefully next time we get better service.

Food was absolutely amazing as well as the drinks. Very welcoming and calm atmosphere, our waitress Johna was the best waitress that my wife and I have ever came across. So if you decided to have dinner here at the brown derby. I highly recommend the waitress Johna she was very friendly with a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor.

Delicious steaks, very tender. Nice variety of sides. The table shares one big salad and I would've preferred each person getting their own salad to their liking. Also, would have liked more options on the children's menu.

Disappointed. First time here. 2/19/22. I should have known that I should left before even seated. Got here 1.5 hours before closing. There was a gentleman in front of me whose party of 8 was turned away because they stated they wanted to cut 5 servers therefore would not have a server to wait on them. Wait ..what?? You cut servers when you don't have customers for them. You have customers asking for a table an hour and half before close. Can't you cut less servers?it was also explained although the posted hours were they close at 10 the kitchen closes at 9. Sounds to me like you didn't want the business. This is where I should have left. I didnt. Bad move. We ordered. After ordering we were told we are out of roll i won't be bringing you any. Then yeah I know its disappointing as she was away. Ok not too big of a deal. I ordered a baked potato butter only. My plate arrives and I'm told we are out of butter. Do you want sour cream. No I don't like it which is why I asked you not to bring it in the first place. There was no offer of a different side.. or a discount, just left with a dry potato. Finally I ask for sour cream because I have no option. She comes back miraculously with butter. Cold so my guess is someone just didn't want to go get it. The other 2 patrons I was with ordered a chop steak smothered in onions and mushrooms... no mushrooms. I assume out of those too but it wasn't even mentioned. The whe experience felt like they were not interested in working... again 1.5 hours before close. They acted as if it was 2 mins before close. Steak was ok. Potato seemed old, not hot.

we went there tonight for dinner. we waited over an hour to be seated even though there were plenty of open tables. we sat down and immediately was told they had coke products but we're out of coke, then they were out of the porterhouse that you could get free shrimp kabobs and then we asked for some more bread and we're told they were out. our appetizer never came out. we got our food and it was not great. Two of the 4 steaks were raw. they were sent back and I also had ribs so was going to eat them and I picked one up and it was cold not even lukewarm. I got the steak back and tried to cut into it and find a bit that was not all grisle but could not. I complained and told the waiter I would only pay for the edible part. this was a terrible experience and is my own fault because as we were waiting people left complaining about how terrible the service was. I strongly encourage you to take a hard pass on this place

Decent food for a chain restaurant. Steak seasonings are great. Back ribs worth repeating. Scallops okay, no sear or char flavor. Rice pilaf bland. Staff service great, makes for good evening.

This was my absolute favorite restaurant. Not only is the food delicious but there are, or were, a couple of servers that made you want to keep coming back. My family and I go to Brown Derby at least once a week. Not anymore. There is a new manager and she is firing staff that has been there a long time and are good at there job.I am going to look for the staff she canned, and go to where they are employed next.

Don’t bother. They won’t cook your steak right. Rice pilaf? More like Salt pilaf.. Horrendous dining experience. Staff is discombobulated. No one knows where to go and what to do. Please avoid for your own sanity. Worst steakhouse in Canton.
