Always good food and service at my local restaurant.

Here now 3/26/22… First thing first we waited before someone came to write our name. Our server was short with us as well. Food did not come out hot and it wasn’t really edible. Spent $31 on food I got boxes for and probably going into trash. It’s sad because I hate wasting food?

Bob Evan's is always great food. Felt comfortable to eat alone there, which i hardly ever do. Waitress was great.

This was the worse possible dining experience! We went there to celebrate my Dad’s 91 birthday. We had 2 tables of 6 people each. Our waitress was very nice but she was incompetent to say the least. She never asked me if I wanted a drink. She took everyone at my tables order but totally forgot my 91yr old dad’s. He went up to the counter to order his food. She didn’t take our other tables orders till the first table was almost done eating. My Dad again went up to the counter to get a drink. And again he had to go to the counter to get his dinner rolls. She brought out a plain salad and asked who ordered it. I told her I ordered the wildfire chicken salad. When she brought my order that same salad was served to me. I again told her nicely that is not what I ordered. She brought out a piece of chicken on a plate and gave it to me. She came out with a tray of dinner rolls and passed them around regardless of the fact that some of us ordered biscuits or banana bread. This same series of events occurred at the second table. Just totally incompetent. There was no manager to be seen! How about minus 5 stars!!!!! This occurred on 2-22-22

I’ll add to the last comment. Table 2 of the 12 top on 2/22/22 for my grandfathers 91st birthday dinner. Table 2 did not get silverware or all of our drinks until we got our meal. When the 1st table just about finished eating when the waitress took our food order. We got our order after table 1 was finished eating. The 6 of us got our food except myself and my 12 year old daughter. After telling the waitress 2x what we ordered she brought my meal out and not my daughter. I again told her what she ordered. 20 minutes later she got hers. And I had to ask 4x for water and ranch to which the waitress did not return with either and I had to get it myself! I was also giving my bill before I was served food! Now we all were extremely polite and respectful to our waitress but where was management. Every single time I’ve been to any Bob Evans I have always been greeted by the shift manager. This building was not short staffed. Yes we had a large party. But we all were more then accommodating as well as more then patient. This was hands down the worst dining experience I have ever experienced. And We will not be returning. Shame on this restaurant.

Let's see. Might as well of been self service because even after server took order, and patiently waiting for her to bring anything we asked her for politely, she did not bring it back or seem to remember that we asked her for it already 2-3x and had to go up and either help ourselves or ask another employee for who was not going to see the tip SHE was SUPPOSED to be earning. As far as management went, I never saw a manager in the building for the 3.5 hours we were there waiting for our meal for all of us to finish. In my personal and professional opinion the waitress who was serving us, clearly needed help and/or training. Training on menu, customer service, vegetables and sauces etc. Like flash cards with colors on them. Very disappointed as this was also my grandfather's 91st birthday. And she eventually took everyone's order and still didn't get the birthday man, he had to walk up and order both his drink and food on his birthday. My niece still never got her correct food. My sister got her bill before she got her food but yet her daughter didn't get hers. Something is off with the caliber of staff they are hiring. Including absent manager. I've always known Bob Evans to have a great manager. I've always had them assisting all staff spots and greeting and checking on food. My mother ordered a "wildfire CHICKEN salad" and she got served a regular salad with no chicken so she told the waitress and she took it back to kitchen and brought the same salad with no chicken to be seen. To be told blatantly there is supposed to be chicken on a wildfire chicken salad. She later on brought a piece of chicken out on a plate ...

Well it's pretty hard to screw up breakfast......however this one did. After notifying my waitress she ignored me and didn't offer to correct it. When I was paying I told them to and they failed to rectify this also. I would recommend the one across town they are much better with service

Drive the extra ten minutes to belden village. I was at this location two weeks ago and I'm still thinking about how bad it was.Server named Steve was flat out inappropriate to every table, people were leaving, he told an older couple to "slow their role" and was cursing casually in front of a table with a child, manager was a deer in headlights acting like everything was fine, cook walked out of the kitchen with an unlit cigarette in his mouth,...This place is WILD.

Honestly this has been the worst place to eat in the last month. First time we ate here, food was cold and dry, hash browns overcooked and they were slow. Took about 45 mins to get our food. Tasted like it sat there the whole.time..secondly we tried again thinking maybe it was a bad day and nope. Same thing. Steaks were still bleeding, mashed potatoes mixed qith stuffing and carrots ?? that wasn't ordered. My children's pancakes were super cold, the burger was still red and it was plain disgusting. Let's just say that is the last time we will ever eat at Bob Evans.

Our food was fresh, brought out to us very fast and our server was amazing!! She made our visit and we will definitely be back.
