Amazing experience all-around! Our group of 6 adults and 2 small children were treated the absolute best today, 05-11-22. We were seated immediately, our server was incredibly friendly as well as kind to the children. We each ordered appetizers as well as 2 seafood family meals. Wow! A lot of food and we didnt wait more than 15 minutes. The food was incredibly good, but the excellent service is what made the trip worthwhile. We will be coming back soon for sure!

This place is great. Love this place. I'm here at least once a week if not more. Polite fast and professional. If anyone says different their nuts. Prices are also very affordable. And all the food is always fresh.
I waited an entire week to write this review. This was a tough one. I settled on an average of 3 stars because there were aspects of the experience that earned 5 stars and aspects that were 1 star. Let's start with the good... Service was definitely 5 stars. Our waitress "K" was excellent. She was personable, attentive, knowledgeable about the food and very professional while being very friendly. The seasoning and the flavor (which is at the discretion/choice of the customers because you choose your flavor and your spice level) was superb. For the flavor level K recommended the A+ special flavor to my husband and she was right. The only down side to his meal, (shrimp/no heads and snow crab legs) was that there was NO CRAB inside the crab legs once he cracked them. Honestly, one or two legs had a tiny bit of meat in them. My meal was absolutely a one star, maybe a 1/2 star. I decided to try a "fried" basket. It was totally flavorless if that's a word. As flavorful as the boiled dinner was, the fried dinner went in the exact opposite direction. It didn't even have salt. Yuck. So I can actually recommend this restaurant as long as you stay away from the battered fried food. Even the hush puppies were tasteless. So try it out but get the seafood combos that you can choose your own flavor and spice levels for. Good Luck.
SO GOOD. We got snow crab legs, shrimp, and clams. Best seafood in this area, we will definitely be back!
Very cute decorated on the inside. Prices are high in my opinion for the quality of food you get so it's not worth it to me. I probably will never go back but I do have friends that like it so maybe it's just me.
A+ for A Plus Crab!Great service, fresh seafood, and the extra spicy A+ seasoning I ordered was spicy.My only 'crabbing' is the same at every seafood house, the boiled corn on the cob is over-done and too soft. Of course I ate it and enjoyed it anyway. :-)While the price is not low, considering I got a half pound of snow crab, a half pound of shrimp, along with a half pound of sausage, a few potatoes, and a cobblet of corn for just a bit over $30, that's not outrageous by any means.Plus, I ate all I could and have enough left over for another meal. This was our second visit to A Plus and the second time I've had enough for two meals. So the price for me is actually $15 per meal. And who doesn't like leftovers?And better than that, our daughter paid, so the meal tasted that much better! :-)The best part of the meal by far was celebrating my granddaughters' birthday. At 11 years old, she chose the restaurant and really enjoyed her meal as well as the birthday ice cream. A Plus with family is the best way to crab!You don't need to take my word for it, we were one of three birthday celebrations and there were large family seatings enjoying their meals! too!A Plus Crab is in the Country Fair Plaza at Tuscarawas and Whipple in Canton. Be prepared to wear a bib and gloves which they provide, a little work to open the Crab legs, and ENJOY!
My girlfriend and I travelled to Canton to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame this past weekend for my birthday.. after the visit to the museum, we decided to grab dinner and WE LOVE CRABS! We’re frequent visitors of Joe’s Crab Shack, and we’re discouraged to find there wasn’t one in close proximity to Canton.. so we decided to take a chance on a local crab restaurant and see what happened.. we googled crabs and found A Plus Crab had good reviews so we decided to give it a shot, and man were we impressed! From the moment we walked in everything went great! We were greeted quickly and led to our table just as quickly.. the wait staff was awesome! Our server was Flower, she’s the best of the best! She was attentive, made sure we had everything we needed (crab crackers, zippers, gloves, bibs, and hand wipes) and made sure we didn’t sit long without drink refills.. we ordered hush puppies as an app, which didn’t take long at all, and each ordered the snow crab with A plus sauce and hot seasoning.. the boil bags came out piping hot which is awesome! Although I would still eat cold crabs they are so much better when they’re hot! And as I mentioned, we went for my birthday.. so Flower carded us for our drinks realized my birthday was within the next couple of days and took it upon herself to get us a dessert and have the staff sing happy birthday! We are from NJ so unfortunately we probably won’t be back for a while if ever, but just know if I ever do happen to be in the area I will be a return guest! If you’re looking for a good crab place and your in that area, give it a try and ask for Flower!
Fresh seafood and spicy sauce. Enough said. The price is right, they let you crack and peel your own seafood with ample room to get as messy as you need to and their sauces are delectable. Spicy Cajun shrimp knocked my socks off. Love this place. I've gone back as many times as my wallet allows me to.
