The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are wonderful. Will go back for sure! Hummus and pitas are soooo good.
Ordered two different sandwiches for lunch. Pompeii sub was good The bread was nothing to rave about. My friend had the corned beef sandwich and she was extremely thrilled with that. Good job taking our orders and providing a lot of options with their sandwiches whether it be toasted served hot and such. Also indulged in a couple of desserts. One was a chocolate baklava cheesecake that was very tasty. The other was a triple chocolate mousse tort that was also quite tasty The sandwiches also included a bag of chips of your choice. The owner here and their staff are extremely friendly and outgoing I very much enjoyed the interaction with them. The guy had such a good attitude, outgoing and pleasant it almost took me by surprise compared to what you normally have with the interaction of people at most restaurants.
They are all so friendly !!! The food is incredible !! The place is clean ! They have a variety of sandwiches and other lunch/dinner options !!! Been going here for years and the quality is always the best ! If you notice in my review picture I already took a bite out of my sandwich because I couldn’t wait lol ! Seriously though, best corn beef and gyros around! They never disappoint !!!!! Every time I leave here the experience gets better
They are always so kind and accommodating. We love their food on a normal given day but I gotta give a shout out for St. Patty's day. We went for Reubens and the line was insane. Not only did they have their $#!+ together and were busting stuff out left and right, but our sandwiches were AMAZING, hot and everything was correct down to the extras we requested. We ordered again tonight 3/25 and I got another reuben because they are that good... best in Brunswick! Oh and the desserts! Highly recommend the chocolate baklava cheesecake!
Just stopped in for a quick bite and this place is amazing. My husband and I shared a Reuben and a side of fries and it was delicious. We were also given a sample of the gyro meat which gives us another reason to come back again. Service was fast and friendly.
We moved to this area about a year ago and I feel like I've wasted a year not coming to Old World Deli. Wow. The Jo-Jos and sauerkraut balls nearly steal the show. The Jo-Jos are crispy on the outside and velvety soft on the inside. Perfect texture. The sauerkraut balls have an outstanding array of flavors that pair well with the deli's horsey sauce. My wife got a cuban and I got a corned beef sandwich, both soft and full of a perfect ratio of ingredients. The baklava had a unique flavor I've not experienced before--rose water? Orange blossom? Whatever it was, we loved it!When I picked up the food, I was greeted warmly and enjoyed light conversation. A family-owned small business with history, it's clear why the quality stands out amongst what Brunswick--or Cleveland--has to offer. Definitely a customer for life. Food has no business being this good. Thank you for making our special day even better.
My fiance and I stopped here on a whim today and we absolutely loved it! The menu on the wall is so cute and very extensive. Rania was so personable and kind and her daughter did a great job cooking for us. The food was very delicious! We got a corned beef sandwich, chicken gyro, waffle fries, and stuffed grape leaves. Will definitely return.
Everything at this place is amazing. Never had a bad sandwich or meal from here would recommend this to anyone. We drive 20 to 25 minutes to get the food from there at least once or twice a month.
I've been to several Deli's in the Cleveland area, including the famous one downtown. This deli definitely holds its own! Fantastic food, especially the pastrami reuben! Check them out for sure!
One of a kind place in the area. If you're looking for a quality sandwich this is your spot. Shame on anyone going to Subway or some other chain when this is in driving distance! Cuban was very good!
