I used to love Sam B's, but I think I am done eating here for a number of reasons. First you got rid of the parmesean crusted pork chop my absolute favorite. Now you took drinks off of your happy hour. Your serving chips instead of bread with your spinach and artichoke dip. Just a lot of not so good changes. Very much miss the old place. It's not all bad as your steak is the best in town. I used to eat here one or twice a week, not anymore please reconsider some of your decisions miss the old Sam Bs.

Sam's has changed lot from what it was. New location and smaller menu. It's a more upscale dinning experience. Our waitress Natalie did a nice job. We never had to ask for more water. We started off with crab cake appetizer, big disappointment that for $14 we got 1 small crab cake. We also had spinach artichoke dip. It was $10, little steep but it was very good. I also had French onion soup, I did enjoy it. My son and I ordered fried shrimp, it came with coleslaw and fries. The fries could have been cooked longer but other than that, everything was delicious. Big jumbo shrimp and homemade slaw. My wife ordered chicken Marsala, it came with green beans and mashed potatoes. She loved it. We finished the night with creme brulee. It was good but a little too thick for my liking. Inside the place has a modern decor, clean and inviting, although the beach seating in the rear was not comfortable for me and when someone left threw the back door, we froze. Prices are moderately high but the portion size is good. We will definitely have to come back to try other items. They have some on street parking and parking in the rear.

The food was expensive with most dinners costing around $18. The side portions are small, my mashed potatoes looked like it came from a small ice cream scooper. Food was average but but worth the bill. The wait staff was friendly.

Stopped in close to 6. A loud happy hour crowd was enjoying the half price, usually $5, beverages. With the conversation bouncing off the metal ceiling we were happy when the bar crowd moved out. The scottish salmon was excellent. The dry chicken and cold fries not so much. Service was pretty good. Replaced my cold fries. How you serve cold French fries is a mystery. Probably try again later in an evening.Had a good attendance on Friday eve.

The service and meal was a 10/10! Highly recommend for any occasion!

New place looks great! Drew was an excellent server and the food was great! Place got a little busy on a Saturday afternoon, might want to call ahead if you have a big party.

Reservation for 6pm. Seated at 6.30. Received food for 4 of 5 of us by 7.30. Tepid at best. Over seasoned on basic food. Seriously disappointed overall. They moved to much smaller location yet seriously understaffed for the amount of traffic. Not returning. Not for what we received and the server did the best she could after given 8 tables. Sam B's, no more like Sam D's.

We had the best dining experience at SamB’s. Our server Drew went above and beyond to help me order. I have Celiac Disease and he made sure that everything I ordered was gluten free, checked in with the chef and it was all delicious. We especially loved the Brussels and Bacon! So good!! Our son is a freshman at BGSU, so thankfully we’ll have 4 years to come back to SamB’s.

Had a small group. Food was great! Server fantastic. Would love to go again!

This is no longer Sam B's. Beckett's has switched place with Sam B's. Becketts is quite good with good food and service and reasonable rates.
