You get seated very quickly and the staff is very nice, however they are very short staffed. That in itself doesn’t bother me, just dont go there if you are in a hurry. What bothers me is because they are short staffed the cleanliness of this place is not the best. There are grimy finger prints everywhere, there is a funky odor that comes from the carpet as you sit there and the blinds and window ledges are filthy. I honestly left there wanting to sanitize more than my hands
Hadn't eaten at a Bob Evans in awhile so decided to try it. This was around the end of March 2022. Food was only average. My son can't eat gluten so it's a challenge for him to eat out. They did not offer a gluten free menu.. So he ordered a salad with grilled chicken on it. It had very little chicken, seemed like about a 1/2 a chicken breast and not much lettuce either. Since I had said it was my treat, I felt bad because I knew he wouldn't even be full on this skimpy salad. So I ordered him an additional grilled chicken breast on the side. I ordered one chicken breast, the waitress brought two very small ones (on a plate, nothing else) and charged us $7.50. I felt the overall value was definitely not good. Would not go back to this restaurant as the waitress didn't seem to care very much.
I was seated promptly and received my drink right away, but after my waitress took my order I only saw her when she dropped off my food and when she walked by dropping off my check.I ordered the pot roast sandwich with fries and the gravy. I literally had more tomatoes on my side salad than I had fries with my dinner. My 10 pieces of fries, gravy and meat on my sandwich were all cold, the cheese was barely melted on my sandwich too.I just hope my waitress improves her customer service skills.
I got the wildfire chicken salad with crispy chicken. The chicken was a little overdone as well as the biscuit was dry. Service was good but she never came around to refill our drinks.
My family had a lovely time! It was a normal busy Saturday, and it was obvious they were understaffed, but our waitress Sammy was so fantastic! She was just an absolute rockstar and handled everything like a pro! Cannot stress enough how lovely she was
Love this Bob Evens, food is great and service is fast staff is very friendly worth the tips...They serve alcohol even at 10am like a franks hot sauce bloody Mary, it's from a can I add pickle juice which they bring me a shot of to pour into my cup, even though it's from a can it's still pretty delightful. Beggers can't be choosers. Lol.
Food was good, restaurant was very busy and most of the staff was solid. My only issue was the tables all seemed like they were poorly cleaned after people finished with little food particles all over them
Food was just ok, normally food is pretty good but there was a staff shortage took a little bit longer to get our food we had to hunt for the ketchup and salt and pepper. But I love the menu and homey feeling.
Excellent value is found here. They are consistent. We love their hot chocolate. Everyone enjoyed their food and most folks had leftovers. The staff was attentive.
Great food great service. Our server Pam went above and beyond to make sure our expierence was awesome from drinks to custom requests she earned a star today.... and the cook made our food perfectly so another star for them. Wish every meal was like this everywhere.
