Decided to try this place out with our family on a Sunday morning. We originally had planned going somewhere down the street because of some of the reviews I was reading. But I'm glad we gave it a try regardless of some of these reviews. Food was delicious. A bit up there in price but it was all worth it. We did have a bit of a wait but they had a large group ahead of us. 3 table of people so very understandable. I'm assuming owner came up to us making sure we were good and apologizing for the wait. We're not from the area but next time we're there we will definitely be stopping there again for some good food! Sign at the door said no outside food/drink. Which is very understandable coming from a small business. Reading some of these comments saying it's rude is ridiculous. If you had a small running business you wouldn't want someone bringing in Starbucks Coffee. Keep up the great work regardless of some of these reviews.
I love this place! They make you feel welcome, their food and drinks are delicious, especially the frozen Carmel temptation! They remember who i am, and what I ordered after the first few times of going there. The setting is relaxing. They are always smiling, they actually care about their customers, I don't find all of these qualities in other places of buisness that often! I recommend this place!
Was a weekly customer for months. Enjoyed it until today. Never again will they see us. Rude and argumentative from the time I walked up to the counter. The young people at this establishment are very polite and courteous. They go out of their way to make your experience there pleasant. The man and lady who are older think they can talk to you however they want to. Kindness matters. We're done. Taking our business where managment treats you with kindness and respect.
Love this cafe! A must have while you are in Boardman. The food is excellent, coffee is made with love, prices are fair.
Let's start by saying the coffee was good and the price of the coffee was also. However, the food was overpriced. Went here for breakfast and ordered the BIG platter for $10. What comes with the big platter? 1 slice of toast, 2 pieces of bacon, 1 sausage patty, and 3 eggs. Less food than a happy meal and didn't even come with a toy.Edit- you, sir, are missing the point of reviews. If someone is happy they can express their opinion. If someone is unhappy they can express their opinion. Your job as a restaurant owner is to take heed of the reviews to gauge your performance. You clearly are unable to handle even the smallest degree of criticism and "blast" anyone who leaves a negative review. I didn't enjoy your food, hence I left a negative review. It is literally that simple.
Staff was not welcoming & my coffee tasted watery. Even tipped and got not a thank you in return. Wouldn’t go back.
Disappointed. Soup and sandwich combo. Soup was very, very thick, sandwich had little flavor. Both were very small for the price. Cafe Mocha was good.* response to owner's reply - honest criticism & 3 stars are not indicative of bashing and I'm sorry you took it that way. You're right, I should have addressed it while I was there. Unfortunately, staff was busy and I was too. I probably wouldn't have said anything except my family has frequented all of your locations beginning in the 90's and gave out your gift cards during the holidays.
Their waffle sandwich (egg,ham, cheese) is delicious. The owners are very friendly and considerate. Have had their luncheon sandwices and find good selections on the menu.
Friendly and efficient breakfast service. We stopped here while traveling through the area. Easy access from the Interstate. Cozy ambiance. Our party had 3 different breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal, all yummy! Coffee was exceptional.
I met my friend there at 12:45 today. I used to go to it with my mom years ago in Canfield. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich. when I got it, it has no bacon, just egg and cheese. I took it up and the girl that waited on us brought it back. now mind you, this is a big croissant, it had a curled up, very grisly piece of back on it, it didn't even cover a 1/4 of the sandwich, I took it back, I could hear the cook say that that's all it gets, I said, " what a joke, I don't want it, give me my money back!" why would I pay $4.85 for something like that?!!! if like to speak to the owner.
