Excellent chocolate, good coffee.. Gets super busy
I love Winans. Great coffee. It's always fresh. Much better than the garbage Starbucks puts out. You can actually taste the coffee at Winans. Unlike the other place that's a cup of flavored syrup.
Someone working there, I wish I recalled his name, recommended a lemonade mixed with espresso and it was seriously so tasty and energizing. I am going to drink it more often. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the recommendation, as I was trying to have something both refreshing and caffeinated!

I like going here for coffee and a few chocolates. I can't rate the flavored coffees because I don't drink them but the regular is really good. Very good selection of chocolate. No way you can't find something you want.
One of the better chain coffee shops in the Dayton area. And hand picking individual chocolates is pretty amazing
Winans is a wonderful coffee and chocolate shop that has other lovely items to offer as well. Muffins, scones and pastries but I suggest trying their chocolates. Full disclosure I'm not normally a chocolate girl, but I think there's a very good. Also if you want really good coffee I recommend the Highlander grog (complete fave) and they have an amazing chai tea. When it's cold and you want comfort they have a nice hot chocolate, multiple teas and coffees and they even have the frozen versions. One of my favorite places to go.
I have never had a bad coffee drink here. They were busy but everybody working was polite, efficient, and professional.

Got coffee and hot chocolate from here. The coffee was good and the hot chocolate was excellent. The staff are polite and friendly. There is parking just outside.
