Had a pre-Mothers Day desire for my self-care Saturday, and choose Panera Bread in Fairfield Commons as my destination. As usual, they did not disappoint. My salad was generously portioned and very fresh with a large serving of fresh avocado on top, my onion soup was steaming and delicious, and of course I washed it all down with hot green specialty tea, ginseng. I completely forgot to take a picture because the food was so delicious it was gone before I knew what happened! Thank you Panera Bread for my special self-care Saturday lunch! ?❤️?
The Signature Take Chicken Sandwich = ????Panera Bread's take on the chicken sandwich is worth the try, even at the "humble" price of $10.89. It's smartly crafted with a juicy, well-seasoned chicken breast and other flavorful ingredients, and it's quite filling without being too heavy or overbearing. I like to add red onions, tomato slices and spicy pickle chips to them as the default ingredients make it look and taste a bit "lonesome."...AND WHILE WE'RE ON THE SUBJECT OF PANERA BREAD: this location seems to be making a HUGE improvement in their quality of service, especially with getting modified orders done quickly and correctly. I no longer have to say useless prayers in my car before picking up, hoping that they get my orders right. Please keep that momentum going!
Panera used to be our favorite place to get a bite, but, it has lost its shine. Prices have gone up while quality has suffered and every visit we must clean off a table to use and the flooring is always dirty. But, my great-grandson LOVES it!
Had an excellent dinner in a peaceful atmosphere. The young man that took our order was polite and professional

The chicken was a little cold in the breakfast chicken egg avacado wrap. Busy place at lunch but the perfect destination for a short business meeting.
My sandwich was a little skimpy but the soup was terrific and hot. A convenient location for meeting friends.
Used the app to order. Food was ready for pick up at the promised time. Hot and very tasty. We didn't dine in or order in person, so I can't comment on dining room cleanliness or courtesy of employees. We'll be back, for sure.

Food good and staff very friendly. Dining room looks good, however, men’s restroom looks like it needs a deep cleaning. It’s been a while.
