Ordered a few subs for pickup about a month ago. They had a ton of time to prepare those things! But still had to wait about a half hour for the subs. If I didn't race to beat a thunderstorm home I would've noticed they shorted me a twenty dollar sub! They said they would reach it next time we order. Next time they did NOT honor their own statement. Last night we wanted subs again and I decided to get it delivered. My mistake! They called me an hour after I ordered and left a message on my voice-mail saying my food is to be delivered at 10:20 at night!! It was 7pm and I was hungry. So I told them to please deliver it now. They said they would after the driver gets back. I am so so so so done with this rip off place. NEVER AGAIN!!!
This rating may go up in the future. This was my first time there, and not with a relaxed group. The menu had a whole lot of things I want to go back to try. The menu was great. Probably one of the best menus I've seen in restaurant in a long time. Some places I've been to oy seem to have a few items I would want to eat, but Milano's menu had too many things. It would take many trips to try all of the things I want to try.I tried the Italian Beef. They had a slightly different name for it, I think they called it the Chicago Italin Beef. It was good. It was better than no Italian Beef, but it wasn't Chicago Italin Beef. Slightly close, but also kind of far from what I would co sider a real Chicago style Italian Beef sandwich. Sorry, I've eaten the real thi gs in and around Chicago. This sandwich disappointed me, because I thought I would get the kind of Italian Beef I've eaten in Chicago. However, Milano's version of a Chicago Italian Beef sandwich is a heck of a lot better than the standard Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches most Dayton area places serve.I will go back to Milano's, it is worth going back to try other things. And, I might even get another one of their, so called, Chicago Style Italian Beef sandwiches, since it's as close as I think I will get in the Dayton area.
Service was slow but the place was not crowded. What I observed...hostess was on phone behind work station so she did not notice people when they came in...She would be notified by the servers or she would look up from her phone. My food took a while and brought by a different server. Our server did not check us. I then had to hunt her down to pay my bill and get boxes for my food. Food was good but service was slow.
I have been here three different times to pick up a order. Each time the wait has been more then 30 mins, doesn't matter what time of day. If you order from this place you are not a priority. They will get to your order when they fill like it.
Pizza is incredible. Service, some of the worst I've received ever. I came to pick up dinner and was told that they do curbside but that my order would probably be forgotten about? Who says that? I have a sick kid in the car and didn't want to come inside but had to because I didn't want to sit here waiting forever. Lady taking orders seems annoyed by phone orders and inconvenienced by customers. I will not be returning.
Always a great sandwich the pizza is great too! Try the AC grilled
LarderRoom...Tried out the Atlantic City Italian Sub at Milano's! AKA the AC, Genoa salami, capicola, cotto salami, Provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, and special seasonings. Grilled and served with mayonnaise! Server was Lindsey and she was awesome! I will be back to try the loaded cheesesteak!
Carried out on 1/7/22. 4 sandwiches and 3 large pizzas with a coupon $112. Food was at best mediocre, pizza was over cooked and sandwiches were dry. Lack of pride and no oversight of management. For the money spent, I won't be back. Covid and what ever excuses you can think of I understand. But you just can't keep raising prices and putting out a lackluster product. I expect damn near perfection for $112. There are better options! You folks used to be the best, not anymore!
I placed an order at 2pm for later on NYE and they completely lost the order, even after giving my card info over the phone.Zero apology. Zero ownership. This is the second bad experience we have had in two weeks. Terrible service
Like most places, Milano's seems to have raised prices across the board, but not too much. Quantity and quality have stayed the same. I've never had a bad meal at Milano's and their prices are still lower than comparable restaurants. My kids love their options too, making it one of the few restaurants we can all agree on.
