I've been here 4 times in the past 45 days. Everything I've had has been excellent. Even the salsa & chips are really yummy! I got the Special Lunch #18 Pollo Fundido (chicken burrito) twice - which is a really good burrito. And I got the Tacos Patron - once with chicken and once with beef - and both versions were really good. The Tacos Patron come with either beans or rice (the rice is the best I've had at any local Mexican restaurant), a small bowl of very yummy verde salsa plus a grilled jalapeno. Pics of the menu are included. The parking lot is fairly tight for bigger vehicles - and that's the only negative I have - which has nothing to do with the quality of food in this wonderful restaurant!! I highly recommend this place.
Ate here only because the wings/burger place next door was closed on Monday. Nothing about the experience was bad, but neither was it great. Service was OK, but not particularly attentive. The menu was surprisingly extensive, but the burritos we got were not filling but not overly flavorful. I did like the salsa. I'd called this an adequate eatery, but see no reason to go back.
Food was overpriced and if anything, average. Gave one star for the quick food service despite being full for lunch, however it took awhile to get the bill, not all dishes were correct as ordered and one person had to make repeated asks for a glass of water. Another star was for the chips and salsa...the chips were fresh and hot and the salsa fresh. (it was even nice that each member of our group got their own small dipping dish for the salsa!) Very average...even for Ohio.
We ordered Pancho villa med well. And it looked like it didn't even hit the grill. The steak and the bacon was all pink. My fiance got the Pollo Ranchero with no bell peppers. With sour cream. Hers had bell peppers and didn't get her sour cream. Called to see what to do about it and offered a 10$ refund. I didn't even get to eat mine at all she luckily just picked her peppers off but was a very very unsatisfied situation. She's off work once every 2 weeks and was suppose to be a little date night for us movies at home with a nice dinner.and definitely didn't have a good night dinner for us. Very disappointed ?
This was our first time going to Don Patron and it will not be our last! Our server was amazing and we were greeted immediately (unlike Chuys where we sat for 15 minutes as the only customers there and were never greeted once sat). The food came out hot and fast and my goodness, the portion sizes left us with a bunch of leftovers! We never had to ask for refills. Our new favorite restaurant! Restaurant was clean. Friendly service. Everything tasted great except the hot sauce. It kinda tasted as if it’s old. Their portions were great. Nice plating and you’ll find a real detailed menu. Some decent cocktails were add on. It was busy on Friday night , but the servers still kept checking on us if everything was okay. That’s really impressive. I am definitely going back.
Food had amazing flavor and was hot! Service was fast and friendly and we got everything we needed. Definitely recommend!
I was introduced to Don Patron Mexican Restaurant by a close friend who comes at least once a week. The food was good, hot, and tasty. I would advise my other friends to visit and experience this restaurant greatness and hospitality ?
Great salsa, service and food! Everything has been super tasty and has treated my family extremely well. Great coupons and deals as well. Their Texas Margaritas can't be beat. Can't wait to visit their future locations as well.
Ordered the Burrito Patron. Amazing!!! We are never disappointed when we visit.
