The doughnuts are not as great as I remember them being when I was in Kandahar Afghanistan. If you didn’t show up when the places opened up you would be out of luck. They where the best doughnuts! However the Tim Hortons in Athens, the doughnuts taste like any other doughnuts you can get anywhere else. Also I am not sure if they ever fixed there issue but for like 6 months there credit card machine has not worked. I don’t carry cash on me that often and if I wanted a doughnut I wouldn’t even be able to buy one as there machine is always broken. A few times I got lucky and had cash on me and when I did get doughnuts I was not happy with the quality or taste of the doughnuts.
I have never been a fan of Tim Hortons! Just never cared for anything on the menu or their coffee drinks but I do love the strawberry coconut refreshers! I now have to ? stop ? to grab one on my way to work everyday??♀️ Staff is always friendly at this location. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ for service and the refreshers I do have to say it’s time to get the credit card machine working right! This was a issue during Covid when I stopped and has been an ongoing problem for them (constant for months) to only accept cash, tap cards or Apple Pay your losing a lot of business. Everyday I’m there I watch uncountable customers walk out the door. Today I allowed another customer to cash app me and I paid cash for him. I completely understand ? happens but this is a issue that can be fixed with proper management and the big guys helping management resolve the issue. This is 2022 most NEVER carry cash, banks like mine tell me to wait till my card expires for a tap card, not everyone has a apple phone & my Apple Pay won’t approve my bank card! 0 out of 5 ⭐️ for fixing this issue in a timely manner
Used the app to order online and pick up. A super easy process!
The workers here are AMAZING! I love the quality of food and overall have never had an issue and I am a huge Tim Hortons lover. However the OWNER of this store obviously does not care about the employees. They have been a “cash only” store now and do not take cards for months. This is not the workers fault and I feel so bad for them that they probably get yelled at because the owner of this Tim Hortons doesn’t care about its employees enough to fix the card readers on their machines. There’s been many times that I have had to stop going here because I do not have cash, and I do not have time to go into the store to use my chipless card reader. Again, the OWNER of this location is getting a 1 star. The employees and everyone else gets 5 stars from me. I hope for them the owner of this franchise will read/ see this and actually get this fixed not just for customers, but so that their kind employees stop getting yelled at for a problem that they physically can not fix.
Cash only for MONTHS! They are losing so much money and customers by not having this issue fixed promptly.
Cashier was sweet. Coffee and lattes were gross. The cups were so hot that my fingers were red and I had to rush to my car before I dropped them. I took a sip of each and realized the coffee didn't have what I paid extra to have put in it. The latte tasted as if the ingredients just didn't mix well together. When I poured them out the coffee it had thick grins at the bottom and the lattes bottom was thick chocolate.
Pretty much ever since this location opened I've been underwhelmed by the service and quality. The place is often dirty ...of all the times I've been in and around the dining room I don't think I've ever seen anyone cleaning it ...and the service team seems to be a little less than coordinated. It's improved slightly over the years, but not as much as you would expect for how long they've been here.Coffee and espresso drinks are fine, but as is the case with most Tim Hortons, the breakfast sandwiches are pretty disgusting. They are not just bad -- they are the worst breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the eggs just don't taste like eggs, the meats don't taste like meat, the muffins and biscuits that hold it all together don't taste like anything at all and usually seem to be soggy as soon as they are served ...I just stick to the coffee and lattes when I want something convenient while having to be out on State Street. For donuts, McHappy's on Richland is better.

Normally very pleased here! Staff is very friendly and I am always excited to go.However, my last 2 orders have been wrong. My sweet tea was unsweetened, and today both items in my order were the incorrect item. I wouldn't normally care but I did not enjoy what I received.Other than that, paninis are very good! I've been a loyal customers, but will begin to look elsewhere for breakfast and lunch.
Girlfriend had a pretzel bagel and all was well until she took a bite and hit a hard object. Come to find out there was a sharp broken piece of what appears to be a plastic knife. Could have been a lawsuit. Be careful.
