Run down bar that looks nice from the outside. Our server was amazing but the back of the house was a mess....ok to start it took forever for just that apps to come out. We ordered mozzarella sticks, pretzel bites and brussel sprouts. Everything was good except the brussel sprouts, which were burnt to high hell. Took forever for food and once it came out I noticed that they forgot my bacon on my burger so I waited for that. I should've known from the bathroom to just walk out. Another thing I noticed is they let customers/non working employees in the back and fool around. I dont mind a fun work environment but maybe make sure no customers see it. Burgers were good and real hamburger and they know how to fry up a tater tot but that's about it.
Typical bar food, the XXX wing sauce is unbelievably spicy.
This location was really good, equipped with security, booth and pool table. DJ was great and the bar had it all!
Great college bar/restaurant with killer wings and burgers. XXX wing sauce is pretty darn hot, but a lil too sweet for my liking. Spicy garlic sauce was mild on both. Good specials, patio out back and pool & corn hole. Worth a stop for lunch when in town and can only imagine when the sun goes down!
The restaurant has changed a lot in 20 years since I was there last when I went to OU. It is much cleaner and still has great food!!!

College town bar and grill serving OK food. Burger was way over cooked for my taste.
We had our Class of 2020 graduation celebration here this past weekend.Everything went well...the staff, the food, the location...just perfect. The management was kind enough to put up with us for over a year due to the postponed ceremony. They consistently reassured us that we would have a place for are party whenever graduation happened. This was greatly appreciated since we are not local.I don't know when we will get to Athens again but when we do, we always stop at the Pigskin.
Great little place to meet friends and have some drinks. Could even compete in some ping pong or bean bag toss which is cool. Only reason not 5 stars is due to staff were rude but they were super busy so I can understand but still.
