Overpriced burger place. Over $9 for a small, burger without toppings and less than 1/2 of an order of cold, stale fries. Ordered takeout. Called restaurant and manager would not correct without a receipt, which I never received. Total rip off. Will never eat at another again. Competitors don't cost as much and get more and better food.
Probably my favorite burger place around. The burgers are super juicy which I love and they are super cheap. Employees are really nice
I am absolutely appalled that a place like this exists. We got shakes and you would expect from the name, that it would be a staple, a treasure, a source of pride, but no.We asked for a strawberry banana milkshake and they said it was not real fruit, but we decided to still try it. They didn't even mix it! It was separate like the land and sea.The cotton candy flavor that we got for our girls tasted like it was an otter pop, yet Milky.I do not recommend and will never return.
I work for Doordash and when I went inside to pick up an order for a customer, I was told they closed in five minutes and I’d have to wait in the 10+ car drive through line, instead of being able to pick up the four milkshakes they ordered. I’m 100% sure that it would have taken less time to just hand out the drinks than it would have for me to have been sitting in the drive though for the last ten minutes moving up only one car. Their drive through is slower than slow. Like no drive through should take this long. And the employees talk slowly like they’re extremely intoxicated and are very rude and not understanding. I get that they need to clean but it’s not like I planned on sitting down and having a meal….
By far the best Steak n Shake location we have ever visited. The place looks brand new and slick. Our waitress was totally on the ball. Our food was cooked well, we got everything we ordered on the first try, and it was lightning quick. It was like we visited the Steak n Shake Hall of Fame!
Great service, quick food delivery to my table. Staff was super friendly and nice. Food was delicious.
Absolutely terrible service. Then they want tips. The waitress was terrible. A short hair blonde. Charged us extra for what we didn't receive. The cook gave us a mean look because he screwed up. This is not the first time dealing with this waitress. Bad attitude. I will finish out our gift card. Then we are done..... been there at least 8 times. Fed up with the waitress and the last straw was when the cook gave us a bad l.ook and talking about us. U guys messed up not us. Goodbye forever.
Came on Friday evening. Not busy. Server was pleasant. Ordered royal double steak burger with no lettuce or tomato and substitute garlic mayo for regular mayo. Food came out with lettuce and tomato and regular mayo. Took the burger to the counter to have replaced. A different server took the burger hesitantly to replace. Brought back 1 min later. Could clearly still see the tomato seeds on the burger and they just replaced the bun and slapped on garlic butter, thinking we wouldn’t notice. Asked for the bill for the milkshake only (since only thing consumed). No manager came out to talk to us. Server brought bill for milkshake and apologized. Receipt has Stephanie Snyder on it for approval. Very disappointed. Won’t be back.
Very near CE place on the edge of Athens community center... Best food and rates. Love it. Neat and clean.. friendly behaviour
It was 1:40 and they close at 2. And they were in there and don’t answer us at the drive thru!! Terrible.
