The staff here is nice but the facilities suck big-time. Inside the Athens Kroger's, the ambience is a cross between post-wall Berlin and an empty NYC subway station. However, and on a brighter note, there are no rats. One third of the available customer space is, on half of my visits, taken up by pallets of incoming cafe supplies waiting to be put away by the harried, over-worked staffers. Another third of the seating area is often occupied by store employees on break, or off-shift. What space remains consists of spartan, spine correcting wooden chairs probably purchased from a nunnery in the gulag.Hygiene here is something alien. Table tops are typically littered or at least hold crumbs and spills from one or more previous patrons. COVID precautions are a thing of the past; established sanitation practices apparently a thing of the past century. It's a shame about this place, really. The space here is quite adequate for a nice, comfy, bustling social environment. But management seems to treat the location merely as a coffee refueling station. I've seen many more inviting gas station coffee centers.
Good service but they are out of certain things pretty often
I’m always satisfied with what they make for me!!
Baristas we're scrambling to keep up with the rush and we a tad short with some customers
Starbucks is at the top of my list with drinks...I've been calling before I make the trip, to see if they're open or not...they've been short on staff and that makes it challenging to operate on their normal business hours.
Quick and the baristas are very friendly
One of the staff members, I believe his name is Clayton, was very rude when I came in with a small group of people to order drinks. He continuously complained while making drinks because he had to do his job. There was another instance where he was rude to a friend of mine when she was also ordering a drink. Worst experience 0/5 rating. I dont think I will come back to this establishment.
The absolute worst! Today they had displays out of a drink I’d been waiting for. When I go to order it the barista said the drink wasn’t actually available until the next day that they just put the displays out early. Okay, that makes no sense. She then informs me that their frappuccino machine was down. The frappuccino machine is ALWAYS down. Somethings always broken. Water leaks from the ceiling, and causes them to be closed super early. There’s just always something wrong!! I’ll go to the Starbucks up town from now on..
I don't do Starbucks Starbucks is for yuppies and people that think they have to have rich folk drink.
Coffee, great coffee
