The Purple Chopstix is certainly one of the exceptional restaurants in Athens. Must have reservations and they have a smallish place on Richland Avenue. Note extra parking across the street in bank parking lot. The seven of us got to eat dinner in a room all to ourselves….special big time…and most helpful with COVID on the way down. Please not the web site to ensure that your eating schedule fits their open hours. Food was wonderful: mushroom soup, tossed salad, three different curries, Daisy stir fry, sushi - vegan style; seafood crepe, plus excellent deserts and coffee. Hard to beat the quality and selection here, no matter where you dine. Hghtly recommended with no reservations; however, you will need reservations to gain access. Please give it a try. You are going to love this place.
My son and I ate here for the first time last night. We did not realize it was reservation only, but they had space and seated us. We had the sushi nori rolls and the red curry, mine with tofu and his with chicken. We each had a house salad. The food and service was great. We loved the decor and vibe of the place. And the cherry on top is that out sushi nori rolls came out with purple chopsticks - what fun!
Very delicious food. Variety does not take away from each dish being the best it can. Wonderful staff and a comforting environment.
One of my favorite spots in Athens. Always the best food?
I miss Purple Chopstix. I went only for the Sunday brunches, which they haven't brought back yet since reopening. I really hope to go back again someday for the Sunday brunch.
Beautiful, delicious, fresh ingredients. Each entree is individually crafted? You may bring your favorite wine to enjoy with your dinner. One of our favorite places in Athens.
Good food. Great service cozy atmosphere
Sitting here waiting on them to open (it’s past time according to website) and no one is even in the restaurant or answering phone. Won’t try again.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere!
Got the shrimp and scallop linguine and it was most definitely not a $20 plate of pasta. Sauce was extremely thin and watery and had nearly no flavor, and the seafood quality was meh. My Tom yum soup was good though and the wait staff were great.
