We had a cauliflower crust pizza - not all cauliflower crusts are created equal. I've had some that weren't so good and some that were excellent. I would rate this one as the next to the best that I've had. Quality and amount of toppings were great, no complaints. Our server was attentive but not a nuisance. Some pizza places will charge extra if you order one of their specialty pizzas and substitute an item. Pizza Cottage didn't do that which made me a very happy camper! We will plan to return.
My first time there. It was a strange atmosphere but it may not be that way all the time. No dedicated bar tender at lunch time and she was not too pleasant. People were coming in and leaving right away which I never did figure out. They have local beers and the sub was decent. I would like to try the pizza.
First time for my mother and I... such a great place to eat. We even took my 85 year old father 5 piece chicken wings. He loved them and was happy we thought of him. We always take him foods, we try to keep him eating... one of his favorite foods.
Fast service maybe when you go in to eat but don't dare to order online! Most places push online ordering like this one and still didn't make our food. We waited an hour after putting our order in and recieved the confirmation email that it would be ready in 25 minutes. After waiting said our was told they hadn't even made our order! Don't offer online ordering if you can not read online orders or just ignore them!!!!
Our first time to the Athens Pizza Cottage was great! We ordered a BBQ Chicken Calzone. They were very tasty.
Never again. After 15 mins, had to ask for our waitress who took our order. 30 mins later still didn't have our drinks or salad. Again, had to ask about our drinks and salad from a different waitress. 20 later got everything at once and no silverware. Again had to ask another waitress to help us. No napkins. Food was barely even warm. Mine was dry, chicken was weird and chewy and some I couldn't eat.The manager sat in a booth the whole time with what I think was the Asst manager doing nothing. While everyone there was complaining about no service, long wait and terrible food. Our waitress had no clue what she was doing. Apparent lack of training
Very quick service. Ordered cheese bread, bread sticks and 3 pizzas. Waitress was very nice. Food arrived fast, and was great. Clean restrooms, great decor with the football games on various TV's.
The environment is clean and looks really nice, however, it’s extremely pricey for what you get. I ordered a personal buffalo chicken pizza with mushrooms and banana peppers. The pizza was around $8.50 for a 7 inch, plus $1.19 for each additional topping. So for my 7inch pizza with chicken, mushrooms, and banana peppers with buffalo sauce, it was roughly $ 11. Additionally, your pizza is served on a piece of cardboard, not a plate so it makes it feel like it came out of a box. The pizza didn’t taste bad, but it definitely wasn’t worth $11 given it’s size and that it came on cardboard. For two personal pizzas and an appetizer of 6 mozzarella pieces, it was $27. This place is nice, but not worth the price.
Great sit down pizza place. Pizza is thin and crispy and they use the small, spicy and crispy pepperoni. Yummy! Cheese bread is incredible. Wash it down with an ice cold beer. Can eat outside if the weather permits. Great place and will be back!
Great food, fast service, and a welcome sit down pizza place with lots of room. Get the Sicilian crust when you can. I do wish there were some better specialty pizzas, but the topping choices pretty much cover everything.
