We were walking in downtown Athens OH today and discovered Lucky's Sports Tavern. What a delightful place to enjoy a Saturday lunch. The food is spectacular. We had the Italian calzone. The staff is friendly. The prices very reasonable. It felt like your favorite home town pub or local. Cheers!
Bartenders are really nice, drinks are great and the prices are cheap.

A hidden gem! When we walked in the place was empty. Oh oh.Our concerns were not warranted.Our first server got our drinks and took our food order. He had F o leave to study. The other servers filled in great.Columbus Brewing's IPA was on tap. One of my favorites. The food was great. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their food.
