I had not eaten here for years until within the past year. It is friendly & clean. The food is good, hot, and comes out fast. I don’t care that they don’t sell alcohol and find the food waaaaay better than Grand Ranchero where I won’t eat.
Food quality is hit or miss in my experience. Service is excellent. A warning, though- there is a major cross-contamination issue in their kitchen. Twice now, one of my guests had a severe allergic reaction after eating there (they are allergic to shellfish, and did not order food with any seafood in it). I also got a side of avocado that had obviously been cut with a dirty knife because there was a red sauce smear on the cut edges of the avocado slices. A bit too "home style" for me from a commercial kitchen.
Amazing food! And Lulu is the best. She always makes it a point to speak to customers and is wonderful with kids!

If you want to enjoy Some real authentic Mexican food in Athens Ohio this is the place to be. They have a variety of food here you'll definitely enjoy. Lulu was so sweet and helpful with what choices to pick from. Reminded me of my Jalisco Mexico.
Service was excellent. Food was amazing. You have to try thier house made hot sauce not for the weak though
Overall good.. Food was as usual, tasty,, their behaviour was really so friendly..
It was good but also not so good at the same time. I myself didn't like the salsa. I also had the seafood meal with shrimp and tilapia and crab..... although I like imitation crab it was a bit disappointing to have that in my meal. All in all food was a 7 out of 10. I will try again and this is just from my point of view many others may disagree. I have left hundreds of reviews and always try to update with each visit. Thanks for the meal El Camino.
I Tasted an amazing lunch. My friend had vegetarian options . We trully enjoyed the Chips and dips that they give at the beginning. I have tasted many dips from many restaurants, I will tell you this was one of the best. I had fish options and it was incredible. i finally found a Mexican restaurant in the town of Athens hat I can frequent
I got the arroz del marr as usual, and as usual I loved it! Yes, it was a very slow night. But our waiter was very attentive and we weren't upset at all. My family has been here at least 7 times now, and every time we are extremely happy with our food!
