I’ve came here 2 times in the last 3 months and both experiences were terrible. My first experience, I ordered an alcohol beverage and the bartender completely butchered the drink and still charged me. Very unhappy because I tried to politely explain that it was wrong and she had no sympathy for her customer. My second visit I ate food, my burger was very undercooked and it took our waitress almost 45 minutes to bring us our checks after we were clearly finished with our food. All around terrible service and do not recommend.
Avoid. Our food took an hour and 15 mins. The place was maybe at most, 35% capacity. Not by any means busy. The bar tender Anya was super sweet and tried to help but nothing she could do really. She told me she was going to get her manager to see if they could help me out at all. She came back and said the manager said “sorry the kitchen people are new”. Super disappointed in management that they couldn’t even come talk to me. Horribly managed. Props to Anya for being sweet even though there was nothing she could do. Would avoid!
I pitter pattered my way up the front steps to be greeted by a smiling face and delightful patio. I was hopping with excitement when i realized the bar was fulling stocked with my favorite drink well tequila. Their fried mushrooms left me speechless!!!MOUTH WATERRINNGGG!!! I left the bar feeling all warm inside, warm like i drank boiling water. That well tequila was devine ?
large college crowd, loud music but food was above average and my server was great, worked her tail off with tables of 4-6. I would.come.back but probably ask the Mgr to turn the music down a little bit.
Broneys is normally a great experience. I went with family on a Saturday for dinner. The food took about an hour to come, and the apps came out after the entrees. The waitress said they were out of ketchup, which I totally understand. However, there is a family dollar about 20 yards away, and they certainly could have picked some up. The food that was warm was very good, some was cold. The CBR quesadilla is very good.
Decent burger, good price but the Bud Light on tap seems to me like Natty. Also, is this still owned by that one slum landlord? Asking for a friend
Limited menu, but they are upfront about what they have and don't have before you try to order. Food is hot and fresh
Amazing atmosphere. Loved the food and the bar. Wasn't crowded at all on a Thursday night even during homecoming week. The food was amazing absolutely loved their fiesta chicken wrap, hubby got their chili cheese burger which he claimed was beyond amazing. The food did take a bit to get out even though there was no orders ahead of us, but it was amazing so can't complain that much. Their fries are also amazing by themselves! Very clean place.
Broneys feels like home. It's a clean and classy atmosphere where all are welcome despite the title Alumni Grill. It's the best place to have a few drinks in Athens.
We have never had bad service here amd the food is always great.
