Our family is a big fan of Wingstop. My husband used to manage one in Texas for many years and we love their wings. This past Friday Night, we decided that we would do Wingstop for dinner. We had some trouble with app when placing our order. So, when we arrived at the location on Waterloo Road, we were told that our order was at the West Market St location. We accidentally placed our order at the wrong location, one of which was literally on the other side of town and it snowing pretty bad. So, my husband called this location and said very nicely that we had placed our order at the wrong location, could they please cancel the order. He spoke with the manager who was extremely rude. She said that it was our fault and that we had to pick up our order. She said she did not care that we placed it at the wrong location and if we don't pick it up, it is our problem and we would be out of our money. She refused to cancel the order and said we will not get our money back. She then hung up on him. Obviously, it was our own error, we admitted that, however, she was blatantly rude. Our confirmation email also stated that if we needed to change or cancel our order, to call the store. After years of him working at Wingstop, he knew it could have been cancelled, she just refused.When we got home, we called our bank since there was a pending charge and they said that once it goes through, they can issue a charge back due to us not receiving our food and attempting to cancel our order and being denied. We also contacted Wingstop corporate who did issue us a refund for our order.We understand that we made a mistake. That was on us. However, we called and politely asked to cancel our order and was met with a hostile and rude manager that refused. That is not customer service at all. Even if it wasn't possible to cancel, there are so many better ways to speak to your customers - maybe like a decent human being? This manager should not be in this position at all. We can't begin to say how disappointed we are in how we were treated by this person. We will never come back to this location and if you are reading this review, stay away from this one.
The fact that they close at 12am but stop takin orders at 1135. I wish all these chain businesses would close down.
This place will get your order wrong 50% of the time. This time I was missing 3 ranches and the large drink. The fry’s all had Cajun on them instead of regular seasoning. My 2 year old son cried because it was too spicy. The one fry was a regular size instead of a large.These guys would F up a wet dream.
Dominique thank you for your GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Your other employee she was rude and doesn't know anything about customer service. Especially after they got my original order WRONG!
General managers boss the director said I’m SOL out of $30 which is crazy they couldn’t fix the order I’ve eaten here for years and will never eat here again do not buy from here they don’t care about customers
This place is horrible how is it possible to be a restaurant AND NOT HAVE ANY CASHIERS TO TAKE AN ORDER I’m extremely disappointed they need new management or they will continue to fail as of today 11/29/2021 this establishment had hand written notes post on all the windows saying online ordering only and the manger was very disrespectful
They are having such a hard time no managers new cashier doesn’t know what she’s doing at all
Today has been a day! I decided to try wingstop for the very 1st time and let me say it was absolutely amazing! Hot and fresh and the crew helped brighten my day! A simple conversation can go a long!
We ordered a large order today and told Stephanie we we’re paying separately cause everyone either had cash or card. Got our food and everyone’s fries were ice cold. Good thing we had a microwave. Other than that the food was good. But what was not cool was the manager who was Stephanie making a comment that she was going to come to our place of business and buy 10 things and have us ring her up 10 different times she was upset we had a big order. You are in the food business!!! Come on down to our place of business we’ll happily ring you out 10 different times. We are a business and our customers come first. Providing good customer is not a priority for Stephanie.
Ordered today. Terrible experience. Waited 25 minutes for the food very slow and the fries were cold. Ordered 2 orders 5 piece tenders. The pieces were no bigger than nuggets. I figured being a wing place the tenders would be fresh but I'm pretty sure they were frozen. Terrible value. Can't believe the price for what you get definitely won't be returning.
