The Ruben sandwich is accompanied by Valley Cafe chips. The corned beef is the best I've ever had. It's also used in other dishes. The marbeled rye bread is above average and grilled to perfection. The sandwich is way too sweet due the ample use of 1000 island dressing.I've eaten here before when the chips were scrumptious; this time they detracted from the experience by being old, greasy, and overcooked. I'll try again however.
The locale is nice. Food looks ok. It was going nice but then the unthinkable happened. We found fried spider in our fries. I asked the waitress and she took it away. Then I was presented with the bill of the food. I talked with the manager and she said that the waitress said that it crawled from outside. Seriously!!!! Finally some conversation, she took it out of the bill. To add, zero empathy shown on the restaurant side
Had a lovely time sitting outside! The service and food were both great! They even have gluten free toast which is always a bonus!
Food was amazing, huge portions, and those home fries are NO JOKE! As a Celiac I appreciate the gluten free options and attention to prep details to keep me safe!
It's just not good food. They don't have items on the menu and what they do have is not great. I've tried the French dip, the buffalo chicken wrap and a simple side salad and onion rings.The dip was pretty flavorless - I don't consider salt a flavor. The buffalo chicken wrap was sweet, almost like they used French dressing instead of hot sauce. The salad had lots of frisee, which is my least favorite green. The onion rings were the bright spot - nicely breaded and cooked to tender and bight-through deliciousness.There are plenty of options out there. I won't try this place again.
First time eating here. Friendliest staff I’ve encountered in a VERY long time. Perfectly cooked omelet and home-fries. Will be back soon!! Thanks for a great meal Valley Cafe!!
Great breakfast place, I like how their food is actually spicy if you order it that way. Sometimes with breakfast spots or other restaurants they'll say it's spicy and it's fake news spicy but this place if you order their spicy gravy its very good. Great service and scrumptious flavored coffee.
Was excited to try the French Dip, it was awful. The bread should Always be on a baguette , it was on an Orlando hoagie bun so it immediately fell apart. The Au jus tasted like brown water instead of a juicy beef broth. The ribeye meat was steakums at best. The french fries were ok, and the Diet coke , please check your soda gun cause it tastes funky!Very sad about the quality of food , it used to be top notch here but clearly the owner is cutting costs with cheap, low quality products.The waitress was so nice and we tipped her well, kitchen staff was loud and under qualified. Will not return.
Ridiculous portions! My pancake (yes, one) was amazing sand delicious and HUGE, service was iffy but we all have bad days. Will definitely return.
Amazing food! Try the buckwheat cakes! We will be coming back and getting the Bloody Mary next time
