Wow, after an hour wait got our orders in. The owner was greeting his friends but clueless to others. Our over worked waiter finally was bringing out our food but dropped the tray so we had to wait more. The owner glared at him but never approached us. The food finally came out for the second time. Still nothing acknowledging our frustration from the owner. I felt bad for the waiter as he was in tears.I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are a part of the clique there you are just regarded as cash in the register. Our meal was well over 50 and honestly just ok anyway. Nice building and clearly a nice view. But as for customer service forget it. And we have been there more than once.

We ordered chicken tenders they were amazing also got onion rings they were amazing view was great of water and boats coming back very soon

Sit out on the patio the view is awesome! Food was great. Our server Kenzie was the best! We will be back!

We went in last Friday and they told us it was a 30 minute wait. So no problem. we waited... and waited.. and waited. An hour and a half later, they tell us they frozen seating and didn't know how long it would be. AFTER ALL OF THAT TIME!We left. No food or drink.I understand lack of staff. But give us updates on our waiting time, if it goes longer than what was told to us. And go ahead and seat us, we could have had a nice view and drank until the kitchen caught up. We would have spent even more money had they done that.VERY BAD management.

Great view and atmosphere. Best part of the restaurant is definitely being able to sit out on the dock or “ramp”. Great place to eat out on a nice summer day. As for the food, it wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. Pricing on the items were a little questionable. Pretzels were served warm and very good, and the sidewinders were a really good side! Unfortunately you do have to pay extra for more sauce which also kinda stinks. I got the chicken parmesan for the main course and i probably wouldn’t get it again lol. Where as the scenery and atmosphere of the restaurant has a pretty clear focus, the food itself on the menu is pretty diverse and messy

Excellent food with an amazing view of Portage Lake! We had wonderful mussels and a delicious chicken wrap. What a relaxing way to have a meal!

Waited 25 minutes for a waitress to come and give us drinks. We had the fried cod that was dripped in a layers-of grease. The perch was good. The fries they serve are pretty good. No manger came by to check on us or ask how things were. I’m not sure I’ll be back. Ticket was 87.00 and no amount off for waiting forever to be served while others got served. It’s meh.

Had bean soup and a Cobb Salad. It was fresh and delicious. Soup was Arts bean soup and it was great. Can't say much about our waitress. She forgot my soup until I reminded her so it came after the salad. Had to get another waitress to get our bill then had to get someone to take our bills. Don't think waiting tables is the job for her

My husband and I debated on 3 or 4 stars….we both decided 3 stars. I really wanted to rate this restaurant higher but honestly, at best, 3.5 stars. I ordered the cod dinner because I wanted to try the Brussels sprouts as a side dish (up charge ). The Brussels sprouts were not great. I was very disappointed. The cod was good and the sidewinder French fries were good. My husband ordered the perch dinner (5 pieces). He wasn’t allowed to get the sidewinder French fries with his meal, just the regular skinny fries nor was he allowed to substitute the coleslaw. So, that disappointed him. The perch was very good. We both really liked it. Our server, Sierra, was very nice and attentive . Our service was very good. So, as we paid our bill, I asked if the Brussels sprouts side dish is different than the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Our server said yes they are different. The appetizer Brussels are fried and crispy. The side dish is not. That certainly would have been nice to know in advance. Hopefully, this information will help others know there’s definitely a difference. ( I would have never ordered these if I’d known there was a difference in how they were prepared.) The menu has a lot of choices, so we will certainly go back and try other dishes. The atmosphere is beautiful for the CAK area. I’m debating on going back on our anniversary in a couple weeks.

A great place for the local atmosphere and a lot of nostalgia of the old time portage lakes. You have to give credit to the owners because with a decor it reminds me of when I was a child growing up on the portage lakes. If you're not out of town or you need to visit. If you're local then you know what I mean.
