First, the meals we got tasted great. But, we ordered for takeout and like almost every restaurant out there, we got home to find NO salad in one of the meals. Literally 1/3 of the meal missing. My wife picked up the order, noting that the entry would preclude any access by a wheelchair bound person. The missing components and the fact that I could never actually go into the restaurant are why I can only give 3 stars.

I'd give more stars if I could. We tried this place out for the 1st time tonight. We will be going back. The service was wonderful. The waitress was so sweet. The food was inexpensive and they had the BEST hashbrowns and French Toast. We all got something different and we were all happy with our food. My husband got what I think was the "He man" plate of food. $13.99 and enough food there for 3 or 4 people. The onion rings were awesome and my sister tried the cheese and bacon fries. OMG it was just covered in bacon and cheese...so good. I highly recommend this place.

I'm very disappointed in the lamp post I have been going there since I was a kid and tonight at 5:30am I will never go back. The toast was floppy like rubber the hash browns were not even cooked and the syrup was water like literally water. I have always recommended the lamp post to everyone that asks what place has good breakfast. Never again will I recommend anyone to go there.

The food is amazing and the portions are fulfilling !! The steak chops could use a little bit more seasoning.. other than that all is perfect.Tiffany, the waitress/cashier is a super woman, the place was busy she handled dine in , take outs and phone calls like it is nothing.Very much recommended ??

I just moved back to the area. I haven't been in here since they opened the new place several years ago. We had a great experience for our Saturday breakfast! Great service! Constant coffee! And the food was delicious!

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about my experience there this evening. Like a lot of places, this little diner was extremely short-staffed. There was one waitress to handle the entire diner, and actually one of the cooks came out to help her. I only saw one other cook in the kitchen, so 3 people to run an entire diner that became busier and busier the longer we sat. They were extremely apologetic, polite, and kind to everyone they encountered even though they were approaching an hour back up on meal orders. My husband and our 5 yr old daughter made the best of our wait and took the time to laugh and spend time together, and the restaurant did not disappoint when it was time for the food to arrive. Everything was delicious! I'd do it all over again not just for the great food but extremely kind and courteous staff who was also very sweet to our daughter. Thank you to those working there today, we saw you riding the struggle bus and doing phenomenal in spite of it all!

Always been a staple, the foods good and simple. It's cheap and filling. The coffee hot and the restaurant is spotless. Its a place you can swing by if you got the time and grab yourself whatever breakfast you prefer for under 10$ most of the time unless you're reeaaally hungry. Which they have the He man for lol

Comfortable place to chow, loved this place for many of years. Will always be a huge fan, supporter and certainly a customer. I know, I know, diffrent building but still the same ol' atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Big thank you for your hospitality! Cant beat the food or prices either! Will always recommend anyone to try . (. they will be back for more too.)

unfriendly to vegetarians. would not let me substitute meat items.

Was pleasantly surprised. Great food and staff
