I like this place a lot. Great industrial setting, delicious beers, and always friendly service. The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5, and they’re minor complaints, is that it’s often noisy and difficult to hear especially on trivia night and the lack of any merchandise/apparel like they used to have. I’ll still be back to enjoy their new brewed creations, though.
This brewery is right downtown in the Canal Place. I'm not sure why it took us so long to go here but I'm glad we decided to stop in. The setting is a warehouse and a little to big but would be great on a busy not or for an event. Of course, R. Shea Brewing has a nice selection of beers. The food was a nice surprise. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and it was very good. The fried chicken was a nice touch and cheese was on point. The crust was one of the best I've had in Akron...house made...not to thick or thin and was cooked through. The OG Brewhoyse burger was also very good..beer cheese sauce was excellent...however the burger is always cooked well done and it was a little tough but flavorful.Overall a great experience and we are excited to go back and try some more brews and great food!

This place has exquisite flavored beer You could not go wrong with any choice I had five selections and all of them very tasty The bruschetta pizza is amazing the french fries are really good and even the chicken tenders for the kiddos delicious

I hosted an event here for my real estate company. Great people, great drinks, and really great food. I am definitely impressed with the selection of beer and how good the food was (pizza and other apps). I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere as well. We had nearly 50 people show up, and we were accommodated perfectly. I also like the local selection of liquors. Highly recommend for a night out with friends or even an event with lots of people. Beer was 10/10 so good. They had a lot of different varieties and every one I had in my flight I liked. The atmosphere is also super cool, love the vibes. I did four stars bc we ordered food and it was just bland cafeteria food.
the items on the menu arelimited. there are no vegan/gluten free options other than salad and hummus. i tried to get a beyond burger but the bartender told me even that had dairy in it. in a world where we are trying to make better choices for ourselves, there should be more options :)
Bartenders were good especially for being super busy and the credit card server being down. However, I love a good hamburger and this was not good. I actually just ate the bun because the pattys were really bad but I was on a quick lunch break and was hungry. I did not have any Beer but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.
Great food and service as always. Reccomend the pizza and pretzels with beer cheese. Comfortable environment with plenty of table seating and bar seating.
